The RS Precision 4-16x50 FFP combines a practical mid-range magnification span with a 50mm objective lens, giving shooters enough optical reach for most driven hunt and stalking scenarios while retaining a reasonably compact, lightweight package for carrying in the field.

The reticle sits on the first focal plane, meaning the IR-G2A reticle scales together with magnification. This keeps any ranging or holdover marks on the reticle accurate whether the shooter is at 4x for a fast, wide field of view or dialed up to 16x for a more precise, longer-range shot. The reticle offers 6 illumination levels, allowing brightness to be matched to ambient light and target contrast, from low-light dawn/dusk hunting to brighter daytime conditions.

Adjustments are made in 1/10 MRAD clicks, with ±23 MRAD of both elevation and windage travel, giving enough range for typical hunting and mid-range precision shooting distances. The turret uses a Reset System (zero stop), so after adjusting for a specific distance the shooter can return the turret to the pre-set zero without needing to count clicks or check reference marks.

Optically, the scope uses fully multi-coated (FMC) HD glass with nano coating, aimed at improving light transmission and reducing glare on the lens surfaces. The twilight factor of 14.1–28.3 reflects the theoretical low-light resolving potential across the zoom range. A parallax setting fixed at approximately 10 yards to infinity means no separate parallax adjustment is needed on this model.
