Kahles Helia Ballistic Turret (BT)

• User-installable ballistic turret: the turret can be fitted in a few simple steps, so a compatible HELIA or HELIA3 riflescope can be set up for distance compensation without sending the scope away for modification.
• Custom ballistic marking system: the supplied drop-shaped stickers let the shooter mark real holdover points for a specific load, making elevation changes faster and easier to read in the field.
• Quick distance correction: instead of relying on estimated holdover, the turret supports direct dialling for longer shots, which helps keep aiming more precise when distance changes.
• Clear colour-coded labels: printed and blank stickers in multiple colours make it easier to separate different trajectories or loads and reduce confusion during setup or use.
• Made for HELIA hunting scopes: model-specific compatibility keeps the system simple and practical for hunters who want ballistic adjustment without changing the familiar handling of their KAHLES riflescope.

About the Kahles Accesories Series

KAHLES Accesories brings together the brand’s scope add-ons in clearly separated Sport and Hunt groups, which makes it easier to match each accessory to the way the riflescope is actually used. In the hunting range, the series covers practical field items such as flip-up covers, sunshields, killflash ARDs, throw levers and BT HELIA ballistic turrets. The emphasis is on straightforward upgrades that preserve the original handling of the optic while adding a specific function.

Across the series, KAHLES publishes model compatibility for accessories used with both the HELIA and K riflescope families. That approach is especially useful for shooters who want a factory-matched solution rather than a generic part. The line is built around simple installation, clean integration and purpose-driven function, whether the goal is faster magnification changes, lens protection, glare reduction or more precise distance compensation. Within that broader accessory family, the hunting-oriented components focus on practical field use and low-complexity operation rather than adding unnecessary bulk or distraction to the scope.

About the Kahles Helia Ballistic Turret (BT)

The Kahles Helia Ballistic Turret (BT) is a dedicated elevation accessory for compatible KAHLES HELIA and HELIA3 riflescopes, designed for hunters who want a faster and more repeatable way to compensate for bullet drop at varying distances. Instead of relying only on reticle holdover, the turret allows the scope to be set up with clearly identified distance references that match a chosen load. In practice, that means less guesswork when the shot is longer than the zero distance and more confidence when time is limited.

A key strength of this model is its customisable marking system. KAHLES supplies 120 drop-shaped stickers, including printed and blank versions in orange, green and white, so the turret can be marked for an individual ballistic profile. That gives the user flexibility to build a simple, highly visible reference system and to revise it later if ammunition, zero or intended distances change. Because the markings can be removed or adjusted quickly, the turret remains practical for shooters who work with more than one load or want to refine their setup after range testing.

Its user-mounted design also matters. The turret can be installed in a few simple steps, which keeps the upgrade straightforward and preserves the familiar ergonomics of the original riflescope. Finished in black and made specifically for riflescope use, the HELIA BT is a focused accessory: it adds dial-based ballistic correction while keeping the handling simple, compact and field-oriented.

About Kahles

KAHLES was founded in 1898 by Karl Robert Kahles in Vienna, Austria. The company is now headquartered in Guntramsdorf, Austria and specialises in the development and manufacture of riflescopes and binoculars. Within its product range, the HELIA line is associated with hunting optics, while the K series is aimed at sport shooting applications.

KAHLES has a long history in sporting optics development. Around 1900, Karl Robert Kahles introduced achromatic lenses to improve colour rendering and field of view in riflescopes. In 1960, the company introduced the HELIA SUPER, described as its first waterproof riflescope with a patented O-ring seal. In 1972, KAHLES introduced achromatic multilayer coating, enabling more than 90% light transmission through the riflescope. KAHLES later became a subsidiary of SWAROVSKI-OPTIK AG & Co KG.
