Hikmicro Alpex 940 IR Torch

1. Stealth Illumination: The 940nm wavelength LED emitter is virtually invisible to the naked eye, making it ideal for discreet observation and hunting without alerting wildlife. This higher wavelength is primarily suited for digital night vision devices, which can detect light up to 950 nanometers.

2. Enhanced Night Vision Range: This IR illuminator significantly extends the detection and recognition range of your night vision device in absolute darkness, providing clear and bright images. It effectively enhances image clarity, especially in environments with minimal ambient light.

3. Optimized for Digital NV: While analog night vision devices typically detect infrared light up to 850 nanometers, this 940nm illuminator is superb for digital units, offering a highly covert light source. This wavelength significantly reduces the chance of detection by wild boar and deer, even if pointed directly at their eyes at moderate ranges (up to 50 meters), compared to lower wavelengths.

4. Robust and Reliable Design: Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, the torch is built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. Its durable build ensures consistent performance, making it a reliable companion for all your nighttime adventures and ensuring a long product lifespan.

ABOUT THE HIKMICRO ALPEX 940 IR TORCH

The Hikmicro Alpex 940 IR Torch distinguishes itself with its advanced 940nm wavelength, making it a crucial accessory for serious night vision users. This specific wavelength is highly effective for enhancing digital night vision devices, which are adept at capturing this higher end of the infrared spectrum, typically up to 950 nanometers. Unlike the more common 850nm illuminators, the 940nm light is virtually undetectable by the human eye and, more importantly, is significantly less visible to most animals, including wild boar and deer, even at close to moderate ranges. This provides a distinct advantage for stealth operations, hunting, and surveillance, allowing you to observe without alerting your target. The torch features a powerful LED emitter housed in a robust, lightweight, and durable aircraft-grade aluminum body, ensuring maximum resilience in challenging environments. Its primary function is to extend your night vision device's effective range and provide cleaner, brighter images in total darkness, fulfilling the critical need for discreet and powerful infrared illumination.
