HI VIZ Interchangeable Front Sight, H&K USP

• Interchangeable LitePipe system: The front sight uses a replaceable fiber-optic insert, letting shooters tailor the sight picture to changing light conditions or personal preference without replacing the whole sight.
• Bright green front reference: A green fiber-optic front draws the eye quickly, helping the shooter pick up the front blade faster for defensive practice, range work, and general target shooting.
• Steel construction: The sight body is made from steel for better resistance to holster wear, repeated slide cycling, and everyday handling than softer materials.
• Fixed front sight format: A fixed design keeps the setup simple and durable, making it well suited to users who want a clean, low-maintenance handgun sight upgrade.
• H&K USP fitment: This model is built for the H&K USP platform, giving owners a dedicated front-sight option instead of a one-size-fits-many compromise.

About the Hi Viz Interchangeable Sight Series

The Hi Viz Interchangeable Sight series sits within the company’s Original Sights family and focuses on a simple idea: a durable sight body paired with interchangeable LitePipes. That design gives shooters a practical way to tune the sight picture for different backgrounds, lighting conditions, and personal preferences without changing the entire sight assembly. For many handgun users, that means a brighter or more visible front reference in the situations where iron sights are still the primary aiming system.

Across the series, the defining feature is the use of molded fiber-optic LitePipes that can be removed, replaced, and reused. This makes the line especially relevant to shooters who want flexibility from a compact sight upgrade, whether the pistol is used for everyday carry, range practice, or competition. The series is also notable for its broad platform coverage, with model-specific versions for a variety of handguns and other firearms. Rather than chasing complex adjustment systems, the Interchangeable Sight line emphasizes fast front-sight visibility, straightforward installation, and a practical, adaptable sight picture built around fiber-optic performance.

About the HI VIZ Interchangeable Front Sight, H&K USP

The HI VIZ Interchangeable Front Sight, H&K USP is a dedicated fiber-optic front sight for shooters who want a clearer, faster front reference on the H&K USP platform. Its main advantage is not mechanical complexity, but visibility: the green fiber-optic element stands out strongly in daylight and on typical indoor ranges, helping the eye settle on the front sight with less hesitation. That can make practical shooting drills, defensive training, and general target work feel more immediate and more consistent.

This model uses the company’s interchangeable sight concept, so the front insert is not treated as a fixed, one-color solution. The ability to swap the LitePipe is useful for shooters who prefer to adapt the sight picture to ambient light or contrast against different targets. In practice, that means the sight can remain relevant across bright outdoor sessions, darker backstops, and individual visual preferences. The sight is also a fixed design, which suits a front-sight role well by keeping the profile simple and robust.

The body is made from steel, an important detail on a handgun sight that must tolerate repeated recoil cycles, holster contact, and routine handling. Combined with its black finish and 3-dot alignment style, the sight is intended to integrate naturally into a practical pistol setup while placing the visual emphasis where many shooters want it most: on a bright, easy-to-find front blade.

About HiViz

HiViz began in 1996 with a single shooting-related product and grew into a specialist maker of sights for handguns, shotguns, and rifles. The company is based in Laramie, Wyoming, United States, and its product range also includes tritium sights, recoil pads, and other shooting accessories. A key part of the brand’s identity is its work with removable LitePipes, which allow fiber-optic sight elements to be replaced and reused rather than treated as fixed components.

Within handgun sights, HiViz is known for developing several distinct product lines, including TriViz, CompSight, and the LiteWave family introduced in November 2014. The company’s designs generally focus on making iron sights easier to acquire under real shooting conditions, whether through bright fiber-optic elements, tritium integration, or protective sight structures. That background makes HiViz a recognized name for shooters who want a more visible sight picture without moving away from conventional iron-sight handling.
