ABOUT THE TE SERIES

The TE Series is Guide's line of compact handheld thermal imaging monoculars, developed for users who need a lightweight, pocket-sized device for night observation. The series is positioned as an accessible entry into thermal imaging, suited to night hunting, wildlife observation, wild adventures, and search and rescue applications.

Models within the TE Series vary by sensor resolution (256×192 or 400×300, both at 12 μm pixel pitch) and objective lens configuration, allowing users to choose a unit that matches their preferred detection range and field of view. The TE210S, fitted with a compact 10mm lens and a focus-free optical system, is positioned toward the wide-field, close-to-medium-range end of the lineup, while other TE Series models use longer focal lengths for extended detection distance.

All TE Series monoculars share a compact, ergonomic housing designed for one-handed operation, IP67 waterproof protection, built-in Wi-Fi connectivity for use with the TargetIR app, and photo and video recording with synchronized audio. A built-in rechargeable battery with 20W quick-charge support underpins the series' focus on portability and ease of use during extended outdoor sessions.

ABOUT THE MODEL (GUIDE TE210S)

The Guide TE210S is a compact handheld thermal monocular built around a 256×192 uncooled VOx infrared detector with a 12 μm pixel pitch, paired with a 10 mm, F1.0 objective lens. This combination provides a wide 17.5° × 13.1° field of view and a 500 m / 550 yd detection range, suited to short- to medium-distance observation of game and other heat sources in the field.

The lens is focus-free, removing the need for manual focus adjustment and allowing for quick, hassle-free operation as soon as the device is switched on. The TE210S offers 1.2–4.8x magnification through its eyepiece, which has a 25mm eye relief and diopter adjustment from -5 to +5. A 0.32" AMOLED display with 800×600 resolution presents the thermal image with seven selectable color palettes (White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Green Hot, Iron Red, Blue Hot, and Sepia) for use across different scenes and lighting conditions.

Photo and video capture with synchronized audio is supported, backed by 64 GB of internal storage. Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz/5 GHz) connects the monocular to the TargetIR app for image sharing, remote control, and firmware updates, while a built-in Bluetooth module and microphone support additional connectivity and audio recording.

Weighing 228 g and measuring 47×47×132 mm, the TE210S is built for pocket carry and one-handed field use. The built-in battery provides up to 6 hours of operation and supports 20W quick charging, while the IP67-rated housing and an operating range of -20°C to 50°C support use across a range of outdoor conditions.
