GRS Bifrost Composite Stock, Bergara B14 SA HMR M5

• SpeedLock II adjustability: Tool-free adjustment of length of pull and cheekpiece height makes it easier to set the rifle up for different shooting positions, optics heights, and clothing layers without slowing down the session.
• Fiberglass-reinforced composite construction: The composite body keeps weight to 1350.00 g while providing a stable, weather-resistant platform suited to hard field use and repeated range work.
• Ergonomic rubber grip surfaces: Added grip texture on the grip and fore-end helps maintain control in wet, cold, or gloved conditions, which is especially useful for stalking and positional shooting.
• No bedding required: The inlet is designed for direct installation, simplifying the build and helping the action seat consistently without the extra time and cost of bedding work.
• Competition-ready accessory support: The stock is prepared for Picatinny rail mounting and includes QD sling hardware, giving the rifle a practical base for bipods, slings, and other field or match accessories.

About the GRS Bifrost Series

The GRS Bifrost series was introduced in 2019 as part of the company’s composite-and-chassis stock range, aimed at shooters who want a lighter synthetic stock without giving up adjustability. Built around a fiberglass-reinforced composite body, the Bifrost combines low-maintenance materials with the fit features normally associated with more specialized target-oriented stocks. In the GRS lineup, it sits as a practical crossover option for stalking, long-range hunting, and competition shooting.

A defining feature of the series is the GRS SpeedLock II system, which allows quick adjustment of both length of pull and cheekpiece height. The design is paired with an ergonomic grip and fore-end with rubber surfaces for secure handling, plus a recoil pad that adjusts for height and cant. This gives the Bifrost family a clear purpose: to help shooters build a more repeatable head position and shoulder fit across different rifles, optics, and shooting positions. With inlets for multiple rifle brands and color options including black, brown, and green, the series is designed as a versatile platform for modern hunting and precision-oriented rifles.

About the GRS Bifrost Composite Stock, Bergara B14 SA HMR M5

The GRS Bifrost Composite Stock, Bergara B14 SA HMR M5 is built for shooters who want a more adaptable stock for a Bergara B14 short action HMR M5 rifle while keeping the weather resistance and lower maintenance of a composite design. Its intended use spans alpine hunting, stalking, and competition, which explains the balance between moderate weight, secure handling, and broad fit adjustment. At 1350.00 g and 800.00 mm overall length, it remains substantial enough for stable supported shooting without becoming overly cumbersome in the field.

The stock’s most important practical feature is its adjustable fit. A 380.00 mm length of pull, combined with cheekpiece adjustment and the Bifrost platform’s SpeedLock-based layout, helps the shooter align naturally behind the optic and maintain a more consistent position from shot to shot. That matters both when shooting prone with a bipod and when taking improvised field positions. The 57.00 mm fore-end width offers a stable contact surface for bags, rests, or bipod use, while the varmint 0,86 in (22 mm) diameter barrel channel suits heavier-profile barrels commonly chosen for precision-focused Bergara builds.

GRS also gives this model a distinctly field-oriented handling character. The right-hand configuration, added grip texture, and bedding-free installation keep setup straightforward and control positive in poor weather. A recommended torque setting of 5.20 nm supports correct installation, and the stock is rated up to .375 HH, showing that the structure is built for serious recoil as well as general hunting and target use.

About GRS

GRS began in 2010 in Grodås, Hornindal, Norway, growing out of a family business that started in 1983 as Grodås Møbler AS, a furniture manufacturer. That background helps explain the company’s emphasis on stock shape, shooter fit, and practical ergonomics. Today, GRS Riflestocks AS is headquartered in Hornindal and focuses on rifle stocks for hunting and shooting.

The company’s range includes lines such as Hunter Light, Sporter, Bifrost, Fenris, Warg, and Ragnarok, covering laminate, composite, and aluminum chassis designs. GRS is particularly known for adjustable rifle stocks and for its SpeedLock adjustment system, which is used to simplify fit changes on its stocks. Its product development is centered on giving shooters a more repeatable position behind the rifle, whether the application is hunting, range training, or competition.
