DD Optics Pirschler 10x45

• Abbe/Koenig roof prisms: This prism design helps the DD Optics Pirschler 10x45 deliver strong light transmission and a bright image, which is especially useful for stalking and observation in fading light.
• 10x45 configuration: The combination of 10x magnification and a 45 mm objective gives more reach than a compact all-round binocular while staying easier to carry than larger twilight-focused models.
• Magnesium open-bridge housing: The lightweight metal body and open-bridge shape make the binocular easier to hold securely for long periods, even when glassing one-handed or wearing gloves.
• 20 mm eye relief: The generous eye relief supports a comfortable full view, especially for eyeglass wearers who need to see the entire field without pressing in too close.
• IPX-7 waterproof and nitrogen-filled: The sealed, fogproof construction keeps the binocular ready for rain, damp mornings and rapid temperature changes in the field.

About the DD Optics Pirschler Series

The DD Optics Pirschler series sits in the brand’s hunting and low-light binocular range and is built around a clear division of roles. The 45 mm models are positioned for stalking, where reduced bulk matters, while the 56 mm versions are aimed more at twilight observation and low-light hunting from fixed positions. Across the series, DD Optics combines Abbe–König prisms, CT glass and DDlucid coatings to prioritise image brightness, contrast and dependable detail recognition in difficult light.

The mechanical design follows the same field-oriented logic. Magnesium housings keep weight under control without giving up durability, while the Best-Grip armour, waterproof construction and nitrogen filling are intended for regular outdoor use in wet and changeable conditions. Depending on model, the series is available in 8×, 10×, 12× and 15× configurations, covering everything from general woodland observation to longer-distance scanning in open country. That makes the Pirschler line a practical choice for hunters and other users who want a binocular family with a consistent handling style but different optical emphases.

About the DD Optics Pirschler 10x45

The DD Optics Pirschler 10x45 is the stalking-focused model in the range for users who want more reach than an 8x binocular without stepping up to the extra size of a 56 mm design. The 10x magnification helps with judging detail at longer distances, while the 45 mm objective lenses still provide a useful balance of image brightness and portability for hunting optics carried all day. With a field of view of 110.25 m/1000m, it remains practical for scanning edges, tracks and open ground without feeling overly narrow.

The optical system uses roof prisms in an Abbe/Koenig layout and fully multicoated lenses, a combination chosen to support contrast and transmission in the low-light periods when game is often most active. The 4.54 mm exit pupil and 20.00 mm eye relief contribute to a relaxed view, with the long eye relief being particularly helpful for eyeglass wearers. A close focus of 2.50 m also makes the binocular more versatile for general nature observation at shorter distances.

In handling, the magnesium body keeps the binocular robust without unnecessary weight, and the open-bridge design improves grip security during long sessions in the field. Central focusing allows quick adjustment, while the right-eye diopter adjustment and +4 / -4 D diopter range help fine-tune the image to the user’s eyesight. With IPX-7 waterproofing, nitrogen filling and fogproof construction, this model is built for regular use in rain, cold mornings and changing temperatures.

About DD Optics

DD Optics says its optical-instrument company was founded in 2007 in Dresden, Germany. It is a German family-owned optics company headquartered in Chemnitz, Germany, after moving its headquarters there in 2012. The company develops and sells binoculars, spotting scopes, rifle scopes and night-vision devices, with a product range aimed at hunting, nature observation, birdwatching and outdoor use.

Within the binocular segment, DD Optics is known for combining practical field design with specific optical technologies. Its product range includes models using ED glass, Schmidt-Pechan prisms and DDlucid coatings, while the brand states that its binoculars and rifle scopes are mainly developed in Germany and mainly produced in Japan. That background fits the Pirschler line well, where the emphasis is on durable construction, usable low-light performance and configurations tailored to real hunting applications rather than one-size-fits-all design.
