Crimson Trace LG-433 Laserguard

• Instinctive Activation: the front activation pad turns the laser on as the pistol is gripped normally, so the aiming reference appears without changing hand position or adding extra steps under stress.
• Trigger-Guard Laserguard Design: the unit mounts seamlessly around the trigger guard, keeping the pistol compact and easy to carry while adding a visible aiming aid for defensive use.
• Adjustable Windage and Elevation: user adjustment allows the laser to be aligned to the pistol and preferred zero, which helps maintain practical accuracy at typical concealed-carry distances.
• Compact Polymer Housing: the lightweight polymer body adds very little bulk or weight, making it well suited to small carry pistols that need to remain comfortable for daily use.
• Red Class 3R Laser: the bright red aiming point gives fast visual confirmation of point of aim, which is especially useful for close-range target acquisition and low-light defensive scenarios.

About the Laserguard Series

Crimson Trace Laserguard models are built as compact, firearm-specific laser sights for shooters who want a dedicated aiming aid without changing the handling of a carry pistol. In the Crimson Trace lineup, the series sits as a streamlined trigger-guard-mounted option, distinct from grip-integrated designs such as Lasergrips and more universal rail-mounted products. The concept is straightforward: keep the pistol trim, keep activation natural, and add a visible laser that supports faster sight indexing at defensive distances.

A defining feature of the series is Instinctive Activation, which places the control where it can engage during a normal firing grip. That design matters in practical use because it reduces the need for separate button presses when time and hand placement are critical. Laserguard units are typically shaped for a close, low-profile fit around the trigger guard, helping preserve concealability on compact and subcompact handguns. Across the series, the emphasis is on defensive carry, fast target acquisition, and simple operation rather than added complexity, making Laserguard a natural fit for shooters equipping everyday-carry pistols with a dedicated red or green laser sight.

About the Crimson Trace LG-433 Laserguard

The Crimson Trace LG-433 Laserguard is a handgun laser sight made specifically for Kahr Arms .380 pistols, including the P380 and CW380. Its role is clear: add a fast, visible aiming reference to a very compact concealed-carry handgun without making the pistol noticeably larger or harder to manage. Because the unit mounts at the trigger guard, it keeps the profile tidy and avoids the bulk that can matter on small-frame carry guns.

The practical strength of this model is its front Instinctive Activation system. As the shooter establishes a normal firing grip, the laser is engaged in a way that supports a quick presentation and immediate visual confirmation of point of aim. For close-range defensive use, that can be especially useful when shooting positions are imperfect, when light is limited, or when the shooter needs an aiming reference that complements the pistol’s iron sights rather than replacing them.

The LG-433 also includes adjustable windage and elevation, allowing the laser to be tuned to the pistol and chosen zero distance. Its polymer housing helps keep weight low, which is important on lightweight pocket pistols where even small additions can affect comfort and balance. The red Class 3R laser is intended for straightforward, single-mode operation, giving the user a simple laser-only setup with minimal distraction. Overall, this model is designed for discreet carry, rapid access, and practical defensive shooting with compact Kahr .380 handguns.

About Crimson Trace

Crimson Trace was established in 1994 and built its name around firearm-mounted aiming and illumination products. The company specializes in laser sights and firearm-mounted lights, with product families that include Lasergrips, Laserguard, Rail Master, and the Lightguard line of dedicated weapon lights. A key part of its identity is Instinctive Activation, a control concept that uses pressure pads positioned to engage during a normal shooting grip rather than requiring a separate, deliberate switch press.

Over time, the brand expanded beyond handgun lasers into other shooting optics, including riflescopes and rangefinders. Crimson Trace also operates a facility in Columbia, Missouri, United States. In the handgun laser category, the company is particularly associated with model-specific fit, practical defensive use, and controls designed to work with the natural handling of the firearm.
