Crimson Trace LG-362 Laserguard

• Instinctive Activation: The front activation pad turns the laser on as the pistol is gripped in a normal firing hold, so the sight is ready without adding a separate step during presentation.
• Retractable Laserguard design: The compact, trigger-guard-mounted housing keeps the laser close to the frame, helping preserve holster-friendly handling while adding a visible aiming reference.
• Windage and elevation adjustment: User-adjustable zero lets the laser be matched to the pistol and ammunition, which is important for maintaining practical point-of-impact alignment at defensive handgun distances.
• 0.50 MOA dot size: A fine aiming point supports more precise shot placement than a large projected dot, especially when confirming alignment on small targets or in low-light conditions.
• Aluminium construction: The housing adds durability for everyday carry and repeated handling while keeping the unit compact and suited to a handgun platform.

About the Laserguard Series

Crimson Trace Laserguard models are compact, firearm-specific laser sights built for shooters who want a visible aiming aid without changing the basic handling of the pistol. Within the company’s laser-sight lineup, the Laserguard series sits as a streamlined trigger-guard solution, distinct from grip-integrated designs such as Lasergrips and from more universal rail-mounted units. The series is aimed at defensive handgun users, concealed-carry owners, and shooters who want faster sight indexing in low light or from unconventional positions.

A defining feature across the family is Instinctive Activation, which places the control where it can be engaged as part of a normal firing grip. That approach keeps operation simple under stress and avoids cluttering the pistol with oversized switches. Laserguard units are also known for their model-specific fit, compact profile, and practical zeroing adjustments for windage and elevation. In use, the series is less about replacing iron sights than about adding a fast visual reference that can help confirm alignment when speed, awkward shooting angles, or reduced ambient light make traditional sight pictures slower to acquire.

About the Crimson Trace LG-362 Laserguard

The Crimson Trace LG-362 Laserguard is a handgun laser sight built around a compact, front-activated format for pistol use. Its red laser, 633.00 nm output provides a clear aiming reference for close-range defensive shooting, target confirmation in dim light, and situations where the shooter cannot bring the sights fully to eye level. Because the unit uses Laser Only operation, it stays focused on a single task: projecting a visible point of aim without adding extra illumination functions or control complexity.

The housing uses aluminium construction and a retractable design, helping the unit remain compact on the handgun while standing up to regular carry and handling. Front activation supports the fast, natural use pattern that has made Crimson Trace pistol lasers popular: the laser is engaged as the pistol is gripped, rather than through a separate search for a side button. For practical shooting, that matters most during rapid presentation, one-handed use, or low-light work where attention needs to stay on the target area.

The LG-362 also includes adjustable windage and elevation, allowing the laser to be zeroed to the pistol and chosen load. Its 0.50 MOA dot gives a relatively fine aiming reference, which helps with more deliberate shot placement than a larger projected point. With 5.00 mW output in Class 3R, the unit is configured as a practical visible handgun laser for shooters who want a compact aiming aid that integrates cleanly with the pistol rather than a bulky add-on.

About Crimson Trace

Crimson Trace was established in 1994 and built its name around firearm laser sights and firearm-mounted lights. The company’s product range includes dedicated laser systems, with lines such as Lasergrips, Laserguard, and Rail Master, alongside other shooting optics including riflescopes and rangefinders. A core part of the brand’s identity is Instinctive Activation, which uses pressure-pad placement designed to work with a normal shooting grip rather than requiring a separate control motion. Crimson Trace also operates a facility in Columbia, Missouri, United States, reflecting its long-standing focus on practical sighting and illumination tools for defensive and sporting firearms.
