Athlon Midas Flash (3MOA)

• RMR Footprint Compatibility: The Midas Flash uses the widely adopted RMR footprint, so it mounts directly on many optics-ready pistols or on the manufacturer's RMR adapter plate, without the need for additional third-party plates.
• 3 MOA Red Dot for Precise Aiming: The compact 3 MOA dot covers little of the target, allowing accurate shot placement at longer handgun distances while remaining quick to pick up for self-defense, duty and competition use.
• Motion Sensor with Sleep Mode: The sight enters sleep mode after 5 minutes without movement and reactivates as soon as motion is detected, so the dot is ready on the draw while battery power is conserved.
• 50,000-Hour Battery Life: A single CR2032 battery provides up to 50,000 hours of constant-on illumination at the medium setting, keeping maintenance to a minimum for carry and duty use.

ABOUT THE MODEL (ATHLON MIDAS FLASH 3 MOA)

The Athlon Midas Flash 3 MOA is an open reflex sight built around the RMR footprint, one of the most common micro-optic mounting patterns on modern handguns. It mounts directly to pistols cut for RMR-style optics or to the appropriate adapter plate supplied by the firearm manufacturer, using the two mounting screws and shim card included in the package.

The 3 MOA red dot is the smaller of the two Midas Flash reticle options. It balances speed and precision: the dot is easy to find in the window at close range, yet small enough not to obscure the target when shooting at longer handgun distances or aiming at smaller targets. With 1× magnification and unlimited eye relief, the shooter can keep both eyes open and maintain full awareness of the surroundings. The 22 × 16 mm window uses fully multi-coated lenses for a bright, clear sight picture with true color rendition.

The 10 illumination settings are controlled by (+) and (−) buttons on the side of the housing, allowing the brightness to be matched to indoor ranges or bright outdoor conditions. The motion sensor puts the unit into sleep mode after 5 minutes without movement and wakes it immediately when the pistol is handled.

Zeroing is done with windage and elevation screws offering a 1 MOA click value and 100 MOA of total travel in each direction, with one full revolution moving the point of impact 64 MOA. The CR2032 battery is housed on the bottom of the sight, so changing it requires removing the optic; zero should be confirmed after remounting. The aircraft-grade aluminum housing is nitrogen purged, waterproof, fogproof and shockproof for reliable use in demanding conditions.
