Athlon Midas EDC

• RMSc Footprint for Subcompact Pistols: The compact RMSc mounting standard lets the sight mount directly to slide-cut carry pistols such as the Sig Sauer P365, Springfield Hellcat and Glock 43 MOS, keeping the optic low and the pistol easy to conceal.
• Motion Sensor with Sleep Mode: The sight enters sleep mode after 5 minutes without movement and wakes automatically as soon as the pistol is moved, so the dot is ready on the draw while battery power is conserved during storage.
• 50,000-Hour Battery Life: A single CR2032 battery provides up to 50,000 hours of constant-on illumination at the medium brightness setting, reducing how often the optic has to be removed for a battery change.
• Durable Aluminum Housing: The aircraft-grade aluminum housing is nitrogen purged, waterproof, fogproof and shockproof, making the sight suitable for daily carry in changing weather and under recoil.

ABOUT THE MODEL (ATHLON MIDAS EDC 3 MOA)

The Athlon Midas EDC 3 MOA is an open reflex sight designed specifically for today's subcompact carry pistols. Its small RMSc footprint allows direct mounting on many slide-cut firearms using the included M4x10 screws, while a dedicated mounting plate for Glock MOS pistols is also supplied. At just 18.4 g (0.65 oz) and 40.9 mm (1.61") in length, it adds very little weight or bulk to a concealed-carry setup.

The 3 MOA red dot is a practical size for defensive use: large enough to pick up quickly at close range, yet fine enough for precise shot placement at longer handgun distances. Combined with 1× magnification and unlimited eye relief, the shooter can keep both eyes open and focus on the target rather than on the sights. The 20 × 16 mm window features fully multi-coated lenses that reduce reflections and increase light transmission for a bright, true-color sight picture.

Brightness is controlled by (+) and (−) buttons on the side of the housing, offering 10 illumination settings to match conditions from indoor ranges to bright daylight. The motion sensor puts the unit into sleep mode after 5 minutes without movement and wakes it instantly when motion is detected, so the sight can be left switched on for carry.

Zeroing is done with windage and elevation adjustment screws offering 80 MOA of total travel, with one full revolution moving the dot 55 MOA. The CR2032 battery sits in a compartment on the bottom of the housing; replacing it requires removing the optic, so it is advisable to confirm zero after remounting. With a rated 50,000 hours of battery life at medium brightness, this is an infrequent task.
