AK Master Mount Optic Mount

• Dual Axis Locking: The patented locking system secures the mount firmly to the side rail and helps prevent shift under recoil, so the optic stays in place during repeated shooting sessions.
• 2-in-1 Top Rail: The combined rail accepts both Picatinny- and ACOG-base optics, giving the rifle more flexibility without needing a separate adapter plate.
• Low-Profile One-Piece Build: Its compact one-piece construction keeps the optic low over the bore and centered over the receiver, which supports a more natural cheek weld and cleaner sight alignment.
• 6061-T6 Aluminum Construction: Machined aluminum keeps the mount light enough for practical field use while still providing the rigidity needed for a stable optic platform.
• Made in USA: Domestic manufacture and hard-use design make this mount a practical choice for shooters who want a durable AK optic mounting solution with consistent fit and finish.

About the - Series

AK Master Mount optic mounts are built as dedicated mounting solutions for shooters who want to modernize an AK-pattern rifle without giving up the platform’s rugged character. Within the brand’s lineup, these mounts sit as the core optic interface for rifles equipped with compatible side rails, and they are designed around practical use rather than unnecessary complexity. A defining feature across the series is the patented Dual Axis Locking mechanism, which is intended to hold the mount securely on the rail while still allowing quick removal when needed.

The series also stands out for its combined Picatinny / ACOG top rail, which broadens optic compatibility and makes the mounts useful for red dots, prism sights, and compact magnified optics. The one-piece aluminum construction reflects a straightforward mechanical philosophy: keep the mount low profile, rigid, and centered over the receiver so the optic sits in a practical position for fast handling. Across the range, AK Master Mount offers versions for several rifle patterns, including standard AKM, Yugo-pattern, VZ58, PSL/SVD, underfolder AK, and Zastava M91 platforms, making the series relevant to both sporting and tactical AK setups.

About the AK Master Mount Optic Mount

The AK Master Mount Optic Mount is a detachable AK side-rail mount designed to give the rifle a stable, low-sitting optics platform without adding unnecessary bulk. Its 0 MOA inclination keeps the setup straightforward for general-purpose sighting, making it well suited to red dots, prism optics, and compact magnified sights used on AK-pattern rifles for range work, defensive setups, or practical field use. Because the mount is dimensioned to center over the receiver and maintain a low axis over bore, it supports a more natural shooting position and helps preserve the handling qualities that make the AK platform appealing.

A key part of this model is the Dual Axis Locking quick-release lever. In practical use, that means the mount is intended to clamp securely while remaining easier to remove and reinstall than fixed solutions, which is useful for maintenance, transport, or switching optics. The one-piece body is machined from aluminium, giving the mount the stiffness needed to support an optic while keeping overall weight under control. Its integrated 2-in-1 top rail is especially useful on AK rifles because it accepts both Picatinny- and ACOG-base optics, reducing the need for extra interface parts. Rounded contours and a protected lever layout also help the mount stay snag-resistant and easier to handle on a working rifle.
