Ade Advanced Optics HG54

• Green laser output: The 535.00 nm beam is easier to pick up quickly than a traditional red laser in many daylight conditions, helping with faster visual indexing on close-range handgun targets.
• Front activation controls: The Tap-On / Tap-Off system places activation at the front of the unit, so the laser can be switched on with a natural support-hand movement instead of changing grip.
• Retractable design: A retractable housing helps keep the unit compact on the pistol, reducing added bulk while still providing an aiming aid when needed.
• Weaver/Picatinny compatibility: The integrated Weaver/Picatinny mount fits a wide range of railed handguns, making installation straightforward on compatible pistols without extra adapters.
• Aluminium construction: The aluminium body gives the sight a solid balance of strength and manageable weight, which matters on a handgun where excess front-end weight can affect handling.

About the HG54 Series

The HG54 Series sits in ADE Advanced Optics’ handgun laser lineup as a practical aiming solution for shooters who want a compact rail-mounted unit rather than a larger light-and-laser combination. Within the brand’s broader catalog of pistol optics, rifle scopes, magnifiers, mounts, and laser sights, this series focuses on simple handgun integration, fast activation, and a form factor suited to railed pistols used for range work, general shooting, and close-range target acquisition.

Its defining characteristics are a front-activated control layout, a retractable housing concept, and direct mounting to Weaver/Picatinny rails. That makes the series relevant for shooters who want a visible aiming reference without adding unnecessary complexity to the handgun. Compared with electronic pistol optics, a laser sight of this type keeps the sighting system low on the frame and can be useful in unconventional shooting positions where bringing the pistol fully to eye level is slower or less practical. The series is built around straightforward operation and compatibility with common handgun accessory rails.

About the Ade Advanced Optics HG54

The Ade Advanced Optics HG54 is a handgun laser sight built for shooters who want a compact, rail-mounted aiming aid with uncomplicated controls. Its 535.00 nm green laser is the defining feature here. In practical use, green output is often easier to notice quickly than red in brighter ambient light, which helps when the goal is rapid alignment at short handgun distances rather than precision adjustment through a magnified optic.

The unit uses a Laser Only operating mode, which keeps the interface simple and avoids extra settings that can slow down activation under stress. The Tap-On / Tap-Off system, combined with front activation, is designed around quick access from a normal support-hand position. That matters on a handgun, where any control that forces a grip change can cost time and consistency between shots.

Its retractable design helps the HG54 stay relatively compact on the pistol, while the aluminium housing provides the rigidity expected from a rail-mounted accessory exposed to repeated handling and recoil. A Weaver/Picatinny mount broadens compatibility across railed handguns, making it suitable for range pistols and other compatible sidearms. With 5.00 mW output, Class 3R classification, and an operating time of 1.00 h, the HG54 is configured as a visible, close-range handgun laser for fast target reference rather than an all-day illumination tool.

About Ade Advanced Optics

ADE Advanced Optics is based in Oregon City, Oregon, United States. The company describes itself as drawing on three generations of involvement in optics and precision manufacturing, and that background is reflected in a catalog built around practical shooting and observation equipment. ADE’s range includes pistol and rifle red-dot sights, rifle scopes, magnifiers, laser sights, mounts, and accessories, giving it a broad presence across handgun and long-gun sighting systems.

The company also develops products in Oregon and supports partner brands with OEM production worldwide. In the pistol-optics segment, ADE is known for a compatibility approach that supports common footprints such as RMR, RMSc, Doctor, and RMRcc. That emphasis on fit, mounting standards, and cross-platform usability is relevant to products like the HG54, where straightforward installation and practical field use matter as much as the core aiming function.
