AD SureFire X-Series flashlight offset mount, Mod 3

• Lightweight Mod 3 construction: At 40.00 g, this offset mount adds very little to the rifle, helping keep the front end responsive during transitions and extended carry.
• Offset light positioning: The mount places a compatible SureFire X-Series flashlight off the rail line, freeing space for support-hand placement while keeping the light easy to reach.
• Aluminium body: The aluminium construction gives the mount the rigidity needed for weapon-light use without unnecessary bulk.
• Made in the USA: Built in the USA, the mount follows American Defense’s established approach to firearm accessory manufacturing and machining.
• Purpose-built compatibility: Designed as a mounting accessory for mounts and SureFire X-Series light setups, it provides a cleaner, more secure installation than improvised universal solutions.

About the AD Accessories Series

American Defense’s AD Accessories series covers the supporting hardware around a rifle setup rather than the primary optic itself. The range includes light mounts, bipod mounts, rail components and other firearm accessories, giving shooters a way to configure a carbine or precision rifle around the mission instead of adapting general-purpose parts. Within the American Defense lineup, this series sits alongside the company’s optic mounts and follows the same practical design approach: compact dimensions, durable materials and a layout intended for hard use.

These accessories are aimed at law enforcement, military, competition, hunting and recreational users, so the emphasis is on dependable fit and straightforward handling. American Defense states that its mount products use 6061-T6 aluminum with Type III hard-coat anodizing, a combination chosen for low weight and resistance to wear. Across the broader mount family, the company’s patented Auto Lock lever system is a defining feature, with user adjustment that does not require proprietary tools and compatibility with in-spec and out-of-spec rail systems. In the AD Accessories line, that same philosophy translates into compact, purpose-built components that solve specific mounting problems without adding unnecessary complexity.

About the AD SureFire X-Series flashlight offset mount, Mod 3

The AD SureFire X-Series flashlight offset mount, Mod 3 is a compact mounting accessory built for shooters who want a cleaner weapon-light layout on a rifle or carbine. By moving a compatible SureFire X-Series flashlight to an offset position, it helps open up rail space for the support hand, front sight area or other accessories while still keeping the light close to the bore line and easy to activate. That matters on practical rifle setups where hand position, sling hardware and light placement all compete for limited room.

The Mod 3 format focuses on reducing unnecessary mass, and the listed 40.00 g weight keeps the mount from making the rifle feel front-heavy. On a working gun, that lighter setup is useful during repeated target transitions, movement in confined spaces and long periods of carry. The aluminium body provides the stiffness needed for a secure light interface while remaining resistant to everyday knocks and handling wear.

As an offset mount, this model is best suited to users who want a more ergonomic flashlight position than a straight side mount often provides. It supports a streamlined rifle profile, reduces clutter on the handguard and helps place the light where activation is more natural from a modern support-hand grip. For tactical carbines, hunting rifles with supplemental illumination or general-purpose firearm builds, this American Defense mount is a simple, low-bulk way to integrate a SureFire X-Series light into the overall setup.
