ABOUT SWAMPFOX

Swampfox Optics is an American optics manufacturer focused on modern tactical, sporting, and hunting optics. The company develops feature-rich optics designed around durability, practical functionality, and strong real-world performance for demanding shooters.

ABOUT THE RAIDER SERIES

The Swampfox Raider 1x20 Micro Prism was developed as a compact prism optic optimized for close-range and fast-paced shooting applications. Unlike traditional red dot sights, the Raider uses an etched prism reticle that remains visible even without battery power while also reducing distortion and starburst effects for shooters with astigmatism.

The Raider combines the speed advantages of a red dot sight with the durability and optical clarity of a prism optic. Designed around a compact footprint and lightweight construction, it is suitable for AR-platform rifles, PCCs, tactical carbines, and defensive firearm setups.

This model is available in the following configurations:

• Raider Micro Prism 1x20 Green 6 MOA
• Raider Micro Prism 1x20 Green BRC
• Raider Micro Prism 1x20 Red 6 MOA
• Raider Micro Prism 1x20 Red BRC

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Swampfox Raider features a rugged die-cast zinc alloy housing engineered to withstand harsh conditions and heavy impacts. Compared to traditional aluminum housings, the die-cast construction provides increased rigidity and excellent long-term durability.

The optic is waterproof with an IPX7 rating and designed to withstand up to 1200 Gs of shock force, making it suitable for demanding tactical and sporting applications.

The Raider uses the industry-standard Aimpoint T-2 mounting footprint, allowing compatibility with numerous aftermarket mounts, risers, and offset mounting solutions.

Swampfox includes both 1.1-inch and 1.6-inch Picatinny mounts in the package, allowing shooters to configure the optic height according to their firearm setup and shooting preferences.

The optic is powered by a CR2032 battery and incorporates Shake N’ Wake motion-sensing technology. After approximately 225 seconds of inactivity, illumination automatically shuts off to preserve battery life and instantly reactivates once movement is detected.

OPTICAL PROPERTIES

The Raider is a true 1x prism optic optimized for extremely fast target acquisition and close-quarters shooting. Unlike magnified prism scopes, the Raider maintains a non-magnified sight picture while still benefiting from prism-based optical clarity and etched reticle technology.

The optic provides an exceptionally wide field of view of approximately 70.7 feet at 100 yards together with a generous 15 mm exit pupil, helping maintain situational awareness and rapid sight alignment.

Depending on the selected configuration, the Raider is available with either a 6 MOA Dot reticle or a Bullet Rise Compensation (BRC) reticle. The BRC reticle includes dedicated holdovers for 5, 10, and 15 yards together with a 50/200-yard zero reference, making it especially suitable for AR-platform rifles chambered in 5.56 NATO or .223 Remington.

The etched reticle remains visible even without battery power and helps eliminate the starburst effect that many shooters experience with standard red dot optics.

The illumination system offers 10 brightness settings, including two night vision compatible levels. Fully multi-coated lenses together with anti-fog, hydrophobic, and anti-scratch coatings help maintain image clarity and durability in difficult weather conditions.
