Brit Fresh Duck with Millet Active Run & Work, 2.5 kg

• 40% fresh duck: A high proportion of fresh meat improves palatability and provides a rich animal-protein base that suits active dogs with higher daily energy demands.
• Active Run & Work formula: This recipe is designed for active adult dogs, combining substantial protein and fat levels to support sustained condition during regular exercise and work.
• Millet, oats and buckwheat: These grains provide carbohydrate variety and energy release while avoiding corn, soy and gluten, which helps owners looking for a simpler grain profile.
• Joint-support ingredients: Glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and green-lipped mussel are included to support joints and connective tissue, which is especially relevant for dogs with a demanding routine.
• Herbs, probiotics and salmon oil: Traditional herbs, added probiotics and omega fatty acids help support digestion, skin condition and coat quality as part of everyday feeding.

About the Brit Fresh Series

Brit Fresh is a product family built around recipes with a high share of fresh meat and a more traditional ingredient profile than many standard dry foods. Within the broader Brit lineup, the series sits as a holistic range for owners who want complete daily nutrition with clearly defined meat sources, selected grains or vegetables, and added functional ingredients. The range includes both dry and canned foods, giving it broad appeal across different feeding preferences.

A defining characteristic of the series is its emphasis on fresh meat content, with Brit Fresh dry foods made with 40% fresh meat. These formulas are paired with ingredients such as herbs, fruits, vegetables and oils to create complete recipes that do more than simply cover basic nutrition. In practice, that means foods aimed at different life stages and activity levels, with attention to digestibility, flavour acceptance and everyday condition. Across the series, Brit Fresh is positioned as a practical choice for owners who want a more ingredient-focused dry dog food without moving away from a complete, ready-to-feed format.

About the Brit Fresh Duck with Millet Active Run & Work, 2.5 kg

Brit Fresh Duck with Millet Active Run & Work, 2.5 kg is a complete dry dog food developed for active adult dogs that need concentrated nutrition in a manageable bag size. Its recipe combines fresh duck (40%) with dried duck to create a protein-rich base that supports muscle maintenance and helps keep the food appealing for dogs with a busy routine. For working dogs, sporting dogs or simply energetic companions, that matters because consistent food intake is just as important as the nutrient profile itself.

The carbohydrate side of the formula uses millet, oats and buckwheat, while the recipe also avoids gluten, soy and corn. This gives the food a distinct composition compared with many conventional dry diets and may suit owners looking for a grain-inclusive formula with a narrower ingredient focus. Added salmon oil contributes omega-3 fatty acids, while herbs such as rosemary, thyme, parsley, dandelion and marigold broaden the recipe beyond basic meat-and-grain nutrition.

For dogs that run, train or work regularly, the inclusion of glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and green-lipped mussel is particularly relevant, as these ingredients are commonly associated with joint and connective-tissue support. Probiotics and prebiotic components further round out the formula for daily feeding. In practical terms, this is a dry food aimed at maintaining condition, supporting mobility and delivering enough energy density for dogs that do more than a short daily walk.

About Brit

Brit is a pet-food brand of VAFO Group. The brand was established in the Czech Republic in 1994 as a private family company, and it has grown into a broad pet-nutrition portfolio covering food for dogs, cats and small animals. Within that portfolio, Brit offers several distinct lines, including Brit Care, Brit Premium by Nature, Brit Fresh and Brit Veterinary Diet, each aimed at different feeding approaches and nutritional needs.

For this product category, Brit is particularly relevant because the brand develops both everyday maintenance foods and more specialised recipes with different ingredient philosophies. The Brit Fresh line includes dry and canned foods, with dry recipes built around 40% fresh meat. That places the brand firmly in the segment of pet nutrition focused on meat-rich formulas, functional ingredients and clearly differentiated product families rather than one generic range for all dogs.
