Our Observations
With Infiray ZH38, the user has to long-press the on/off button for 3-4 seconds until the manufacturer’s logo appears. We stopped the start-up timer as soon as the image appeared, which was at proximately 15.43 seconds. We pressed the menu button as soon as that happened, to accurately portray the ready-to-use time (time, when the device becomes responsive to users’ actions), which was at approximately 16.69 seconds.
As mentioned, we used the “menu” button to show the ready-to-use time, as it was the most suitable. We tested the device and discovered that all functions were enabled when the menu started working.
The device uses Li-ion Battery Pack IBP-1, which is rechargeable and removable. It comes in the package with the charger when you purchase the device. You also get an extra battery, which is a nice addition, so you can switch them on the field, in case one runs out.
The device is easy to handle, and the buttons are easy to press even if you are wearing gloves.
To turn off the device, you must hold the on/off button, until the countdown is complete.
