How to mount a red dot sight on HS H11 RDR

About HS

HS Produkt, a Croatian firearms manufacturer, was established in 1991. Initially named IM Metal, the company underwent a rebranding in 2001, adopting its current name following the notable success of their HS2000 series of semi-automatic pistols. The company has a strong presence in the United States market, where Springfield Armory, Inc. distributes several of their firearms under various brand names including Hellcat, XD, and Echelon. Notably, about ninety percent of HS Produkt’s firearms are exported to the U.S., underlining the significant demand and popularity of their products in the American firearms market.

About HS H11 RDR

The H11 RDR is a micro-compact pistol by Croatian manufacturer HS Produkt, equipped with a polymer frame and a hammer-forged barrel. This single-action, striker-fired pistol comes with two double-stack magazines – an 11-round magazine with pinky extension and a 13-round extended magazine. This distinguishes it from the bigger HS H11 Pro, which comes with a standard 15-round and an additional 17-round extended magazine. HS H11 RDR incorporates both a trigger safety and a firing pin safety, along with a loaded chamber indicator. The texture of the grip resembles fine-grit sandpaper, providing a secure grip. It features a fiber optic front sight and a dovetailed rear U-notch sight for improved aiming accuracy. In terms of size and weight, the HS H11 is shorter and lighter than the Pro model, weighing 455 grams without the magazine, with an overall length of 153 mm and a barrel length of 79.5 mm, thereby making it an ideal choice for concealed carry. The HS11 RDR includes a single Picatinny slot located underneath the front part of the pistol, designed for the attachment of accessories. The pistol can use +P ammo, but you should follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions carefully.

In the US market, this pistol is distributed by Springfield Armory, Inc. as the Hellcat.

The gun is available in the 9×19 caliber.

The HS H11 RDR is offered in two colour variants:

  • Black
  • FDE

Each colour variant is available with or without a threaded barrel. Models featuring threaded barrels are silencer compatible.

HS H11 RDR is optic ready. The models that are not optic ready are labeled HS H11, without the ‘RDR’ mark.

  • HS H11 RDR, black version without the threaded barrel
  • HS H11 RDR, FDE version without the threaded barrel (source: dynamikarms.ch)
