Nikon Monarch 3000 STABILIZED Laser Rangefinder

Introduction

As seen at the Iwa Outdoor Fair 2018, Nikon continues to produce stabilized rangefinders and they have also developed a new rangefinder technology. Monarch 3000 is the first model meant for more tactical shooters as it has a range of more than 2700 meters. The ability to determine the distance has tripled compared to the last year’s model.

About the NEW Nikon Monarch 3000 STABILIZED Laser Rangefinder

New Monarch 3000 is made for single-handed use and has a new, red OLED display that provides five optional brightness levels or an automatic setting. It is accoutered with Nikon’s ID (Incline/Decline) Technology that gives the horizontal distance to the target and takes the angle out of the calculation. The STABILIZED system immediately stabilizes the image seen in the 6x monocular– it reduces the movements caused by wind, cold, adrenaline, hands, etc. and switches on the HYPER READ feature for extra fast and precise measurements. This model also has a Tru-Target Technology, which gives you the option of choosing the nearest or furthermost available target in a group of ranged objects/targets.

The whole device is small and light-weight, and can easily be put into the pocket. It is extremely robust and resistant, due to its rubberized armoring in black color. It is also water and fog-proof. The device will cost about 550 EUR and it is a very fair price for what you get. The ranging capability trend is expanding- two years ago, it was only up to 1000 m and it was already fascinating but in just two years of development it has already exceeded the distance of 3000 m. It is truly remarkable and it was once unimaginable, given that the development of reach up to 1000 m lasted extremely long.

Nikon Monarch 3000 STABILIZED Laser Rangefinder will be available from May 2018 with a 5-year warranty period.
