Introduction
Kahles presented a new pair of binoculars at IWA 2018 with a configuration of 8x56 and thus completed its range of binoculars. This type of binoculars is especially useful for raised hide hunting in low-light conditions. 56 mm objective lenses gather a large amount of light and that is why they are perfect for using at dusk and even at night.
About Kahles Helia
Kahles continues with the Helia line and like other binoculars, 8x56 also has a wonderful design with details and rubber armoring in natural, earth-brown color. The ergonomics are great due to rugged rubber coating, light-weight magnesium housing and short, single bridge design (not an open design, as in the case with the other Helia models). The binoculars are fully multi-coated with phase corrected Schmidt-Pechan prisms, filled with nitrogen and O-ring sealed for water and fog resistance.
Kahles Helia 8x56 is made in Japan and will be available from August 2018 (in specialized stores). The binoculars will come with special handmade Waldkauz® accessories made from natural materials. The price for it will be approximately 1300EUR. Kahles offers a 10 year warranty on Helia binoculars.
