I dont know why this has to be so complicated. All i want to do is buy a Holosun HS407K-X2 sight and an adapter plate to drop onto a new Beretta APX A1 Carry with no modifications, please, tell me which Adapter Plate do i need to buy ? Thanks
beretta offers a rmr plate on their website. the rmr and the holosun 507/407k and 407/507c series share a rmr footprint. link:

Dear Tony,
we are still working on providing a link to the adapter plates with certain red dot sights. Holosun 407K and 507K models are quite problematic because they do not have rear sockets, while the front ones are shallower. For this reason, the adapters have to be modified in some way unless they are designed specifically for 407/507K. Those are made only for a few handguns out there.

This mount works (Type A), but the removable lugs that come with it have to be a little bit shortened in height so that the 407/507K sits in place firmly.

Appreciate the articles. Do you guys know what screws or screw dimensions would allow the 407k x2 to be mounted on the Sig P365XL? Bought one second hand and didn’t have the right screws.

Will this work on a canik rival without modifying the plates that come with the gun?
If the Canik Rival comes with a Shield RMS/SMS plate among others, it will have to be modified. Sadly, the mount manufacturers avoid making a plate that would fit Holosun 407/507K directly because the Shield RMS/SMS mounting standard is much more common.

I am trying to put a Holosun 407K on a Taurus PT840. Do you know what plate will fit this?

Am I to understand that this will fit a S&W shield plus M&P9 optics ready with no modificatiions to the pistol?
I can’t find any images of the cut, so my advice is that you contact S&W and ask them whether 407K X2 fits on their gun without any modifications.

I need a mount to fit a S&W MP 2.0 9mm EZ and use the Holosun HE 407K.
Does any manufacture make this mount?
Unfortunately, such plates are not available in our store. It is still a common practice to modify a plate designed for the Shield RMS standard (remove rear pins, shorten the front ones) in order to mount the 407/507K red dots. Furthermore, some plates designed for the Shield RMS standard are already compatible with 407/507K red dots.
