The Leica Calonox 2 View is a next-generation handheld thermal imaging monocular designed for maximum clarity, speed, and user comfort. Equipped with a high-resolution VOx sensor (640×480, 12 µm) and a stunning OLED display (1920×1080), it offers exceptional thermal performance with remarkable contrast and detail — ideal for extended nature observation in low-light or nighttime conditions.

With a 2.5× optical magnification and up to 4× digital zoom (total magnification up to 10×), the Calonox 2 View enables precise long-range identification. Its field of view spans to a generous 18 m × 13.5 m at 100 m, perfect for scanning wide areas. The shutterless system allows for seamless viewing without image disruption.

About the Calonox 2 Series

The Calonox 2 Series builds upon the strengths of the original Leica Calonox devices, offering several major improvements: a higher resolution OLED display (Full HD 1920×1080 vs. 1280×960), an improved 60 Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals, enhanced sensor resolution and NETD sensitivity, and a larger 32 GB internal memory for storing video and images. Connectivity is also upgraded with integrated Wi-Fi + Bluetooth®, and the unit features a longer battery life of up to 11 hours.

These enhancements, combined with Leica’s German engineering and refined ergonomics, make the Calonox 2 View one of the most advanced thermal monoculars in its class.
