US Optics SVS 1-6x24 Product description

  • True 1-6x LPVO range: The 1x setting supports fast, both-eyes-open shooting at short distance, while 6x magnification adds the precision needed for smaller targets and longer holds.
  • Second focal plane illuminated reticle: The red illuminated SFP reticle keeps a familiar sight picture through the zoom range and helps the center aiming point stand out when speed matters.
  • 34 mm tube with capped turrets: The 34 mm main tube gives this riflescope a robust platform, while capped turrets protect the zero from accidental movement during transport or field use.
  • Fully multicoated 24 mm objective: Fully multicoated lenses improve contrast and light transmission, helping the image stay clear and usable in changing light and against complex backgrounds.
  • Compact, field-ready construction: With a 257.00 mm length, waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction, this LPVO is built for practical use on working rifles in mixed weather and hard handling.

About the US Optics SVS Series

The US Optics SVS series was developed as a low-power variable optic line aimed at the tactical market, combining fast close-range handling with enough magnification for more deliberate shots. U.S. Optics began manufacturing the SVS line in Kalispell, Montana, in mid-2017, and the series reflects the company’s long-standing interest in practical LPVO design. A defining part of the concept is the true 1x setting, which makes the scope easier to use like a reflex-style sight at short distance while still providing the reach of a magnified optic.

Across the line, the SVS uses a 34 mm tube, a second-focal-plane reticle, and a daylight-visible 2 MOA red dot with adjustable intensity. Shared handling features include a built-in throw lever for faster magnification changes and capped windage and elevation knobs with 0.2 MIL adjustments, a layout that favors a secure zero and straightforward field use. Reticle options in the series included MIL Scale and MIL Type 2 patterns, giving shooters a choice between simpler and more reference-heavy holdover layouts.

About the US Optics SVS 1-6x24

The US Optics SVS 1-6x24 is built for shooters who want one optic to cover close-range speed and mid-range precision in a compact LPVO format. Its 1.00-6.00 x magnification range makes it suitable for carbines used in practical shooting, defensive roles, and general-purpose hunting optics setups where distances can change quickly. At the low end, the wide 35.80 m/100m field of view helps with rapid target acquisition and better awareness around the target area. At 6x, the image scale is more useful for identifying details, refining shot placement, and using hold references with more confidence.

This model uses a 2. focal plane - SFP reticle with red illumination, powered by a CR2032 battery. In practice, that means the reticle appearance stays visually consistent as magnification changes, while the illuminated center helps the eye pick up the aiming point faster against dark targets or cluttered backgrounds. The fixed parallax at 92m keeps the system simple and well suited to fast engagement distances, with no side-focus control to manage under pressure.

The mechanical layout also supports a practical, field-oriented role. Capped turrets reduce the chance of accidental adjustment, which is useful on rifles that are carried often or stored in vehicles and cases. The 34 mm tube, fully multicoated optics, and 88.90 mm eye relief contribute to a stable, usable sight picture, while the 257.00 mm overall length and 629.00 g weight keep the scope compact enough for balanced rifle handling.

About US Optics

U.S. Optics was founded in 1991 in Buena Park, California, and established itself as a U.S. maker of riflescopes and related shooting optics. The company’s products serve the competitive, hunting, and defense-shooting communities, which helps explain its emphasis on durable mechanical design and application-specific reticle systems. U.S. Optics is also associated with early work in low-power variable optics, a category that later became central to modern carbine setups.

Over time, the company expanded from highly specialized models into broader commercial offerings, including lines such as the SN-3 and later off-the-shelf series. After an acquisition by DRSG, U.S. Optics moved to Kalispell, Montana, in 2017, and in 2019 it joined ZRO Delta and moved to North Carolina. Its engineering team is located in Connelly Springs, North Carolina, where the brand continues to focus on riflescopes and shooting optics for demanding field use.
