Hi there, In your expert opinion, would you suggest the XQ30 or XM30s for wildlife spotting/identifications? I'm a wildlife photographer with the main use cases being portability and detection and identification. Is there much different being the image quality of the 2 devices. Best Adam

The optical quality of the XQ38 is better than with XM30S due to a better sensor, and wider objective lens. It si true, however, that the XQ38 is slightly bigger and heavier but not by a margin.

Unfortunately, the units we are getting do not have the UK, 3 pin plug. The units we have in stock have a normall continental 2 pin plug.

There are simple adapters available to solve this problem and can be found in many stores.

In terms of optical quality, these two models are the same. The XQ38 LRF is designed with a laser rangefinder the XQ38 model is absent this function. In terms of handling, the non-lrf version is a bit more compact and ergonomic.
