Zero Compromise Optic 5-27x56 FFP

• 5-27x magnification range: covers the gap between mid-range target work and true long-range shooting, so the scope stays useful from positional stages to precise holds on distant targets.
• First focal plane illuminated reticle: the reticle scales with magnification, keeping holdovers and corrections consistent throughout the zoom range while illumination helps the center stand out in poor light.
• Lockable tactical turrets with zero stop: designed for repeated dialing without accidental movement, giving a clear return-to-zero reference after elevation changes in competition or field use.
• 36 mm main tube with 35.00 mrad elevation travel: provides the adjustment range needed for extended-distance shooting while maintaining the robust mechanical layout expected from a dedicated long-range riflescope.
• 56 mm objective and 92% light transmission: support a bright, high-contrast image at higher magnifications, which helps when reading mirage, spotting impacts, or shooting in fading light.

About the Zero Compromise Series

The Zero Compromise series sits at the specialist end of the manufacturer’s riflescope range, built around the needs of long-range shooting, competition, and demanding hunting use. In the current line, the family includes 4-20x50 and 5-27x56 formats, giving shooters a choice between a more compact setup and a model with greater top-end magnification and objective size. Across the series, the design follows a consistent pattern: first focal plane reticles, illuminated aiming points, a 36 mm main tube, and side parallax adjustment for precise focus from shorter distances out to infinity.

The series is also defined by its reticle flexibility. Depending on configuration, Zero Compromise Optic offers designs from the MPCT reticle family alongside MOA and Tremor-based options, allowing the platform to suit holdover-focused shooters as well as those who prefer frequent dialing. Adjustment systems are offered in 0.1-milliradian or 0.25-MOA formats, which places the series firmly in the precision riflescope category rather than general sporting optics. The overall concept is straightforward: strong mechanical repeatability, practical turret layouts, and optical performance that remains usable at high magnification, all in a scope family intended for shooters who rely on accurate corrections rather than simple center-point aiming.

About the Zero Compromise Optic 5-27x56 FFP

The Zero Compromise Optic 5-27x56 FFP is configured as a full-size long-range tactical riflescope for shooters who need broad magnification range, dependable dialing, and a reticle that remains functional across the zoom span. The 5-27x magnification range gives it a wide operating envelope: 5x is practical for locating targets and managing positional shooting, while 27x offers the image scale needed for precise shot placement, reading trace, or refining holds at extended distance. Combined with the 56.00 mm objective lens and 92% light transmission, the scope is built to preserve image brightness and contrast when magnification rises or light begins to fade.

The reticle sits in the first focal plane, which means subtensions stay correct at every magnification. In practice, that matters for shooters who alternate between dialing and holding, because corrections remain consistent without having to return to one specific power setting. The illuminated reticle uses red and green illumination, and the scope also includes auto turn-off to reduce unnecessary battery drain from the CR2032 power source. Side parallax adjustment from 25 m - Infinity helps sharpen the target image and reduce aiming error across a wide range of distances.

Mechanically, this model is built around a 36 mm tube with 35.00 mrad elevation and 20.00 mrad windage adjustment. The lockable multi-turn tactical turrets, 15 MRAD per turn, and zero stop arrangement are aimed at shooters who dial regularly and need a clear, repeatable return point under time pressure. At 387.50 mm and 1075.00 g, it is a substantial optic, but that size supports the adjustment range, large objective, and mechanical layout expected in a dedicated precision shooting scope.

About Zero Compromise Optic

Zero Compromise Optic is an Austrian specialist in riflescopes, founded in 2018 and headquartered in Margarethen am Moos, Austria. The company focuses narrowly on premium riflescope design rather than a broad sporting optics catalogue, which gives its product line a clear emphasis on hunting, competition, and long-range shooting. Development and production are carried out in Austria, while the brand also maintains a North American operation in Orofino, Idaho to support users in that market.

Within the range, models such as the ZC527, ZC420, ZC840, ZC210 DMR, and ZC Hunter show the company’s concentration on precision-oriented optics. Zero Compromise Optic is also known for its AIM automatic illumination management system, which manages reticle illumination automatically, and for the MPCT reticle family used across several of its riflescopes. That combination of dedicated riflescope engineering, Austria-based production, and reticle and illumination systems tailored to practical shooting applications defines the brand’s reputation in this category.
