Zero Compromise Optic 8-40x56

• 8-40x magnification range: This wide zoom span lets the scope move from deliberate target acquisition at lower power to precise shot placement at extreme distance, making it well suited to long-range and precision shooting.
• 56 mm objective with 92% light transmission: The large front lens and efficient optical system help maintain a bright, usable image as magnification rises, which matters when reading mirage, trace, and small target details.
• First focal plane illuminated reticle: The reticle keeps its subtensions consistent throughout the zoom range, so holdovers and corrections remain accurate at any magnification, while illumination improves reticle visibility against dark backgrounds.
• Locking tactical turrets: Positive external adjustments support repeatable dialing for elevation and windage, and the locking design helps prevent accidental movement during transport or positional shooting.
• Side parallax from 15 m to infinity: Fine parallax control helps sharpen the target image and reduce aiming error across a very broad distance range, from close zeroing work to extended-range engagements.

About the Zero Compromise Series

The Zero Compromise series sits in the brand’s specialist riflescope range for shooters who want a mechanical layout built around dialing precision and dependable tracking. In the manufacturer’s catalogue, the line includes models such as the ZC420 and ZC527, with formats like 4-20x50 and 5-27x56 that cover practical field shooting, competition, and long-range work. Across the series, the design language stays consistent: a 36 mm main tube for generous adjustment travel, side parallax adjustment, and illuminated first focal plane reticles for hold-based or dial-based shooting.

The series is defined less by cosmetic variation than by a shared emphasis on usable precision. Reticle options in the family include MPCT, MOA, and Tremor-based layouts depending on model configuration, while adjustment systems are offered in 0.1-milliradian or 0.25-MOA formats. That gives the range a clear place in modern tactical optics and hunting optics where accurate corrections, reticle scaling, and robust mechanics matter more than unnecessary complexity. The result is a family of riflescopes built for shooters who expect consistent optical performance, clear reticle behavior, and a layout that supports disciplined long-range shooting.

About the Zero Compromise Optic 8-40x56

The Zero Compromise Optic 8-40x56 is a high-magnification riflescope aimed at shooters who need to resolve small targets and read fine detail at distance. Its 8-40x zoom range gives it a different role from more general-purpose tactical optics: it is especially well suited to precision shooting from stable positions, load development, target work, and long-range applications where seeing exact point of aim matters as much as making the shot. The 56 mm objective lens and stated 92% light transmission help preserve image brightness as magnification increases, which is important when high power would otherwise make the image less forgiving.

The scope uses a first focal plane reticle, so reticle subtensions remain true throughout the magnification range. In practice, that means holdovers, ranging references, and wind corrections stay consistent whether the shooter is working at mid power or near maximum magnification. Daytime-usable illumination improves reticle visibility in difficult backgrounds, while the automatic shut-off function helps conserve the CR2032 battery during field use.

Mechanically, this model follows a serious long-range format with locking tactical turrets, 28.00 mrad of elevation travel, and 16.00 mrad of windage adjustment. The side-focus parallax system adjusts from 15m to infinity, allowing the image to be tuned for both close setup work and distant targets. A 36 mm tube, nitrogen-filled construction, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof build complete a scope intended for repeatable dialing and stable performance in demanding field conditions.

About Zero Compromise Optic

Zero Compromise Optic is a specialist riflescope manufacturer founded in 2018 and headquartered in Margarethen am Moos, Austria. The company focuses specifically on riflescopes and develops and produces them in Austria, while also maintaining a North American operation in Orofino, Idaho. Its range includes models such as the ZC527, ZC420, ZC840, ZC210 DMR, and ZC Hunter, covering hunting, competition, and long-range shooting applications.

Within the brand’s product line, the MPCT reticle family is one of the defining elements, reflecting the company’s emphasis on modern holdover and correction-based shooting. Zero Compromise Optic also uses AIM technology to manage reticle illumination automatically, supporting practical field use without unnecessary manual input. The company’s reputation in this category is built around dedicated riflescope design rather than a broad outdoor catalogue, which gives its optics a focused mechanical and reticle-driven identity.
