Thompson Center Magnum Quick Shot, .54 Cal

• Pre-Measured Loading Aid: The Magnum Quick Shot keeps a charge and projectile together in one compact accessory, helping speed up reloads and reducing fumbling when conditions are cold, wet, or time-sensitive.
• .54 Cal Compatibility: Built for .54 caliber muzzleloaders, it suits hunters using larger-bore black-powder rifles and keeps loading components matched to the rifle they carry.
• Field-Carry Convenience: Its compact format is easy to organize in a possibles bag, pocket, or pack, so spare loads stay accessible without loose components shifting around in transit.
• Rifle-Oriented Accessory: Designed as an accessory for rifles, it supports practical muzzleloader use in the field where faster follow-up loading and better load management matter.
• High-Visibility Green Finish: The green color is easier to spot among other shooting gear, which helps when loading equipment is laid out on a bench or carried in mixed kit.

About the Magnum Quick Shot Series

The Thompson Center Magnum Quick Shot series is built around a simple field requirement: keeping muzzleloader loading components together, protected, and ready for use. Within the brand’s black-powder accessory range, these accessories serve hunters and traditional shooting enthusiasts who want a more organized way to carry prepared loads than loose powder measures, bullets, and small parts. The concept is especially relevant for hunting, where reload speed is less about volume of fire and more about staying calm, efficient, and consistent when a second loading opportunity appears.

Across the series, the emphasis is on portable load management, straightforward handling, and compatibility with common muzzleloader calibers. That makes the Magnum Quick Shot line a practical companion for range sessions as well as field use, particularly for shooters who prefer to prepare components in advance and keep them separated by caliber. In the Thompson Center lineup, these accessories fit naturally alongside the company’s long-standing focus on muzzleloaders and black-powder equipment, supporting the same practical, hunting-oriented approach that has defined many of its traditional shooting products.

About the Thompson Center Magnum Quick Shot, .54 Cal

The Thompson Center Magnum Quick Shot, .54 Cal is a muzzleloader accessory intended for shooters who want a cleaner, more orderly way to carry prepared loads for a .54 caliber rifle. Rather than managing separate loading components in the field, this accessory helps keep the essentials grouped together, which can simplify the loading process and reduce the chance of misplacing small items when attention needs to stay on the rifle and the surroundings.

That makes it especially useful for hunting with larger-bore muzzleloaders, where gear is often handled with gloves, in low light, or in wet weather. A compact accessory like this supports a more deliberate routine: loads can be arranged ahead of time, carried securely, and accessed with less searching through pockets or pouches. The result is not just convenience, but also better consistency in how equipment is handled from one reload to the next.

Its role is straightforward, but that simplicity is the point. The green housing is easy to distinguish from other kit, and the rifle-specific format suits shooters who want their black-powder accessories to stay organized and immediately recognizable. For anyone building a practical muzzleloader field setup, the Magnum Quick Shot adds useful order without adding unnecessary bulk.

About Thompson Center

Thompson/Center Arms traces its firearms business to 1967, and the company is headquartered in Rochester, New Hampshire, United States. The brand has long focused on firearms for hunters, shooters, and outdoor enthusiasts, with a product history that includes muzzleloaders, black-powder accessories, interchangeable firearm systems, and precision rimfire rifles. That background makes Thompson Center especially relevant in categories tied to traditional hunting and black-powder shooting.

Its better-known product families have included the T/C Encore platform and the Triumph muzzleloader line, both of which reflect the company’s practical, field-oriented approach. Over time, the brand also changed ownership, with Smith & Wesson completing its acquisition on January 4, 2007. Thompson Center remains closely associated with muzzleloading equipment and accessories designed around real hunting use rather than purely bench-focused shooting.
