About the Thompson Center Accessories Series

Thompson Center Accessories is a broad support line built around the needs of hunters and outdoor users. The series covers practical carry and field-use items for firearms and binoculars, along with accessories intended for handling and transporting muzzleloader reload supplies. Rather than focusing on one firearm platform, the range is organized around everyday tasks such as carrying, storing, and maintaining equipment in the field.

Within the Thompson/Center lineup, this series sits as the utility side of the brand, complementing its muzzleloaders and other hunting firearms with straightforward gear that solves common handling and maintenance needs. Official product groupings have included categories such as slings and ammunition carriers, showing the series’ emphasis on practical support equipment rather than cosmetic add-ons. That makes the Accessories range especially relevant to shooters who want simple, purpose-driven items that fit naturally into a hunting or black-powder setup.

About the Thompson Center In-Line Nipple Pick

The Thompson Center In-Line Nipple Pick is a small but useful muzzleloader accessory designed to keep the ignition path clear on in-line black-powder firearms. In practical use, residue can build up around the nipple and flash channel after repeated firing, and that fouling can interfere with reliable ignition. A dedicated pick gives the shooter a quick way to clear that buildup before it becomes a problem, whether during a range session or while maintaining a hunting rifle after a day in the field.

This model is intended for pistols and rifles, which makes it a flexible maintenance tool for shooters who use more than one black-powder platform. Its brass construction is well suited to an accessory that may spend time in a possibles bag, cleaning kit, or pocket, offering good resistance to corrosion while remaining easy to identify among darker tools and components. Because it is compact and task-specific, it fits naturally into a routine that includes checking the ignition area between shots, cleaning after use, or preparing a muzzleloader before storage.

For black-powder shooters, reliability often depends on attention to small details, and the In-Line Nipple Pick addresses one of the most important of them: keeping the path to the charge open and unobstructed. That makes it a sensible addition to a basic muzzleloader maintenance kit.
