Shilba Classic 4x32

• Fixed 4x magnification: A simple fixed-power layout keeps the sight picture consistent and easy to read, which helps with fast target acquisition at short to medium distances and avoids the extra weight and complexity of a zoom system.
• 32 mm objective lens: The 32 mm front lens balances light intake with a compact overall shape, giving the scope enough brightness for general hunting use while keeping the rifle trim and easy to carry.
• SFP reticle with capped turrets: The second focal plane reticle stays visually consistent, while capped adjustment turrets protect zero from accidental movement during transport or field use.
• Multicoated optics: Multicoated lenses help improve contrast and reduce distracting reflections, making the image clearer when picking out game or aiming points against busy backgrounds.
• Nitrogen-filled waterproof construction: Nitrogen filling, fogproof sealing, and shockproof construction help the scope remain dependable through temperature changes, wet weather, and regular recoil.

About the Shilba Classic Series

The Shilba Classic series sits in the brand's hunting-scope range as a straightforward line of traditional riflescopes built around practical field use. Its roots go back to the kind of basic fixed-power scopes that established Shilba's early reputation, and the series still reflects that same emphasis on uncomplicated handling, familiar reticle choices, and dependable construction. Within the line, Shilba offers fixed 4x32, 4x40, and 6x40 models with R4 reticles, alongside variable and illuminated versions for shooters who want more flexibility.

A defining trait of the series is its focus on clear, usable optics rather than unnecessary complexity. Shilba describes the Classic models with Hi-Resolution lenses, aluminum bodies, adjustable focus, and water- and fog-resistant construction, which places them firmly in the category of traditional hunting optics for everyday stalking and general-purpose rifle use. In practice, the Classic line suits shooters who prefer a conventional scope layout, moderate dimensions, and a reticle style that remains quick to read in the field. The result is a family of scopes designed for short- to medium-range work where reliability, clarity, and familiar controls matter more than elaborate tactical features.

About the Shilba Classic 4x32

The Shilba Classic 4x32 is a compact fixed-power riflescope intended for short- and medium-range shooting, where a simple sight picture and quick handling are often more useful than a broad magnification range. Its 4x magnification gives enough image scale for careful shot placement without narrowing the view as much as a higher-power optic, making it well suited to stalking rifles, rimfire setups, and general hunting use in mixed terrain. The 32.00 mm objective lens keeps the scope slim and easy to mount while still providing a bright, practical image for daylight field use.

Shilba pairs this model with multicoated optics and its Hi-Resolution lens concept, helping the image appear cleaner and more defined when aiming against dark cover or uneven backgrounds. The scope uses a second focal plane reticle, so the reticle maintains the same apparent size across use, which many shooters find intuitive in a traditional hunting optic. Because the reticle is non-illuminated, the view stays uncluttered and battery-free, reinforcing the scope's straightforward character.

Mechanically, the 25.4 mm tube and capped turrets support a classic hunting format. The 1/4 MOA click value allows familiar zeroing adjustments, while the caps help prevent unintended changes once the rifle is set up. At 255.00 mm in length and 340.00 g in weight, the scope remains easy to carry and does not overwhelm lighter rifles. Nitrogen filling, waterproofing, fogproofing, and shockproof construction further support dependable use in changing weather and regular field handling.

About Shilba

Shilba traces its origins to an optical workshop near Osaka, Japan, in 1960, where the brand's foundation in practical sporting optics began. A key step came in 1975, when technicians from Argentina traveled to Japan to develop a riflescope for hare hunting, leading to Shilba's first two riflescope models: 4×32 and 4×40. Those early models established the brand's direction toward accessible, field-oriented optics for hunting and outdoor use.

In 1981, the Shilba brand, its technical know-how, and its business contacts passed to the current owners, helping shape the company into a broader optics supplier. Today, Shilba's range includes riflescopes, binoculars, monoculars, spotting scopes, and scope mounts and rings. The company expanded beyond Argentina into neighboring Latin American markets in 2000 and began marketing its products in Spain in 2004. That history gives Shilba a long-standing connection to practical hunting optics with a strong emphasis on traditional scope formats.
