Night Pearl Scops 25 ELITE Thermal Imaging Monocular

• 384x288 VOx sensor with 12 μm pixel pitch: Delivers a clear thermal image with enough detail for confident observation and target recognition, while the 12 μm pitch helps keep the device compact and responsive in the field.
• 2.5x to 10x magnification range: Starts with a practical base magnification for scanning and identification, then adds digital zoom when more image scale is needed for checking distant heat signatures.
• 60 Hz refresh rate: Keeps moving animals and fast scene changes looking smoother, which makes panning, tracking, and handheld observation more natural.
• 1280x960 LCOS display: Presents the thermal image on a high-resolution screen that is comfortable to view for longer sessions and easier to interpret in changing terrain.
• WiFi, photo and video recording: Lets the monocular document sightings and share the live view, which is useful for reviewing observations later or working with a companion in the field.

About the Night Pearl Scops Series

The Night Pearl Scops series is a family of thermal-imaging handheld devices built around practical field observation. Within the Night Pearl range, Scops models are positioned as compact handheld thermal units intended for users who need a dedicated spotting tool rather than a weapon-mounted optic. The series is presented as a thermal-imaging camera line and is associated with hunting use, where quick detection, simple handling, and reliable thermal contrast matter more than unnecessary complexity.

Across the series, the design focus is on a portable format that can be carried easily during stalking, game recovery, and general night-time observation. The Scops concept emphasizes the advantages of a handheld thermal monocular: fast deployment, one-handed use, and the ability to scan ground, woodland edges, and open fields without pointing a rifle-mounted optic. In Night Pearl’s broader thermal catalog, the Scops name sits alongside other handheld variants, giving users a dedicated observation platform with the core functions expected from modern thermal imaging, including onboard viewing, digital image handling, and field-ready construction.

About the Night Pearl Scops 25 ELITE Thermal Imaging Monocular

The Night Pearl Scops 25 ELITE Thermal Imaging Monocular is a compact handheld thermal designed for users who want a balanced mix of image detail, portability, and practical detection performance. Its 384x288 VOx Ceramic sensor with 12.00 μm pixel pitch gives the device enough resolution for dependable observation while keeping the housing relatively compact and easy to carry. Combined with a 25.00 mm objective lens and F1 aperture, it is well suited to picking up heat sources in varied terrain, with a stated detection range of 1298.00 m for long-distance spotting.

The viewing experience is shaped by a 1280x960 LCOS display and a 60.00 Hz refresh rate. In practice, that means smoother image presentation when scanning or following movement, which is especially helpful when observing animals on the move or searching broad areas from a standing position. The 2.50 x to 10.00 x magnification range gives the monocular enough flexibility for both wider-area scanning and closer inspection of distant heat signatures, while the 10.50 ° field of view supports efficient searching at shorter to medium distances.

For field use, the Scops 25 ELITE adds practical features rather than unnecessary bulk. Photo capture, video recording, and video output allow observations to be documented or shared, while WiFi connectivity expands viewing and transfer options. A 7.00 h battery life supports extended sessions, and the IPX-6 waterproof rating, fogproof construction, and shock-resistant build help the monocular stay usable in poor weather and rough handling. At 450.00 g and 181.00 mm long, it remains manageable as a dedicated handheld thermal for hunting and general observation.

About Night Pearl

Night Pearl was established in the Czech Republic in 2009, following development work that produced its first device, the NP-22 night-vision clip-on in 2008. The company has built its reputation around electro-optics for low-light and no-light use, and it has offered thermal imaging devices under its own brand since 2014. Its product range covers thermal imaging, night vision, digital night vision, and daytime optics, with thermal categories that include handheld devices, clip-ons, and rifle scopes.

The brand expanded its technical base with a research, development, and manufacturing facility in Bystřice pod Hostýnem opened in 2016. That background is relevant to products such as the Scops 25 ELITE, because Night Pearl’s expertise is rooted in purpose-built observation and aiming systems rather than general consumer electronics. The company has also expanded internationally, with Night Pearl USA beginning operations in Sarasota, Florida, in 2023, supporting its presence in the hunting and shooting optics market.
