Guide TA450 Thermal Imaging Front Attachment Product description

The Guide TA450 is a robust and adaptable thermal front attachment, designed to seamlessly convert your traditional daytime riflescope into a powerful thermal imaging device. Built around a 400 × 300 VOx thermal sensor with a sensitive 12 µm pixel pitch and a NETD rating of ≤ 50 mK, the TA450 delivers reliable thermal imagery even in low-contrast conditions like rain, dust, or fog.

This compact clip-on is equipped with a high-performance 50 mm f/1.2 germanium lens, offering a detection range of up to 1,400 meters (human-sized targets). At 100 meters, the field of view is approximately 15 × 11 meters, providing a balance between wide-area scanning and target precision. With its fixed 1× optical magnification, the TA450 is optimized to preserve the native zero of your daytime optic while giving you a crisp thermal overlay through your existing riflescope.

The onboard 0.39″ AMOLED display boasts a resolution of 1024 × 768 and a smooth 50 Hz refresh rate, ensuring a stable and clear visual experience during dynamic engagements. Multiple thermal color palettes—White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Iron Red, Blue Hot, Sepia, and Green Hot—allow users to adjust the visual output for different environments and preferences.

Designed with field use in mind, the TA450 is IP67-rated, resistant to water, dust, and shock. It operates in extreme temperatures from –30 °C to +50 °C, making it suitable for any terrain or climate. Powered by a single 18650 rechargeable battery, it offers up to 6.5 hours of continuous runtime. With quick-release mounting and simple controls, the TA450 enables fast transitions between thermal and day vision without the need to re-zero.

by Danny

Dear Sir!

We do not sell Thermal imaging products outside of the EU, due to European export regulations.

Thank you for your understanding.

The suitable adapters you can find here: https://www.optics-trade.eu/en/mounts/nv-clip-on-mounts/clip-on-adapters-for-guide-m33-5-x-0-75.html

I want more detailed explanation about transferring images with video cable

by Birol

Dear sir,

We kindly apologize for the late reply, which is a result of the increased demand for our services.

Through the external interface matching video cable, you can connect an external power supply and an external screen at the same time. While the product is powered by the external power supply, the camera image is output to an external monitor for display.

Kind regards,

What is the difference between the following? Guide TA 450 Burris btc 50 Jsa nightlux 50 Lahoux clip 50 They all look the same, casing, and specifications. So which is better or are they all the clip on thermal?

by Aaron

Unfortunately, we are unable to comment on the Nightlux and Lahoux optics as we don't have them in stock, but Burris is made by Guide. All of those are thermal imaging clip-on devices. The quality of Burris and Guide is the same as the devices are identical.
