ATN Mars 4 384 2-8x Product description

  • 384x288 thermal sensor: The sensor gives this thermal riflescope enough detail for reliable target detection and scene reading without the extra cost and data load of higher-resolution models, making it a practical fit for general hunting and field observation.
  • 2-8x magnification range: The low base magnification helps with scanning and shorter shots, while the higher digital zoom setting gives more reach for target confirmation when distance increases.
  • 60 Hz refresh rate: A faster refresh rate keeps movement looking smoother, which helps when tracking animals in motion or panning across uneven terrain.
  • Smart HD recording and Wi-Fi: Built-in video capture, image capture and Wi-Fi connectivity let the scope document shots and stream the view to a paired device, useful for review, training and shared observation.
  • Up to 18 hours of battery life: The internal Li-ion battery supports long sessions in the field with fewer charging interruptions, which matters on overnight hunts and extended observation periods.

About the ATN Mars 4 Series

ATN Mars 4 is ATN’s fourth-generation Smart HD thermal riflescope series, built for hunters and shooters who want thermal imaging combined with digital tools rather than a simple viewing device. The series uses 384×288 or 640×480 thermal sensors with a 60 Hz refresh rate, giving users a choice between different levels of detail, objective sizes and magnification ranges to match terrain and expected engagement distance.

A defining part of the Mars 4 family is its Obsidian IV dual-core thermal processor, which supports features that go beyond basic thermal viewing. Across the series, ATN includes functions such as a ballistic calculator, one-shot zeroing and Recoil Activated Video, along with simultaneous video recording and Wi-Fi streaming. A smart rangefinder, electronic compass and profile manager further position the series as a digital hunting optic designed to store settings, simplify setup and support repeatable use on different rifles or for different loads. In ATN’s thermal lineup, Mars 4 sits as a feature-rich Smart HD platform with multiple model configurations for varied hunting applications.

About the ATN Mars 4 384 2-8x

The ATN Mars 4 384 2-8x is a thermal riflescope configured for shooters who need a broad field of view at the low end but still want enough magnification for more deliberate shot placement at moderate distance. Its 384x288 thermal sensor, 60.00 Hz refresh rate and 960.00 m detection range make it well suited to spotting heat sources quickly and following movement with a more natural-looking image. The 25.00 mm objective lens and wide field of view help when scanning woodland edges, fields and mixed terrain where targets can appear suddenly and move across the scene.

The scope’s 1280x720 Micro - HD display presents the thermal image with enough resolution for comfortable viewing, while the 2-8x magnification range gives flexibility between wider-area observation and closer target inspection. ATN’s multi-reticle system adds versatility, allowing the scope to be set up for different shooting preferences rather than forcing a single aiming style. Built-in image capture, video recording and video output make the optic useful not only for hunting but also for reviewing shot placement and recording field activity.

In practical use, the Mars 4 384 2-8x also benefits from its WiFi connectivity, internal Li-ion battery and 18.00 h battery life, which support long outings and easy sharing of the live view. Its aluminium housing, waterproof and fogproof construction, and operating range of -28°C to 48°C make it suitable for demanding weather and changing field conditions.

About ATN

ATN was founded in 1995 in Silicon Valley, California, and the company is now headquartered in Doral, Florida. It specializes in night vision, thermal imaging and digital day-and-night optics, with a product range that spans traditional image-intensifier systems, digital night vision devices and thermal imaging equipment. This focus has made ATN particularly well known in categories where electronic imaging, onboard recording and app-connected features matter as much as the optical hardware itself.

ATN has played a visible role in the development of digital sporting optics. Its Smart HD products include 4K-resolution digital systems for day-and-night use, and in 2018 the company introduced products built around its Obsidian 4 Dual Core platform. That digital background is directly relevant to the Mars 4 series, which combines thermal detection with software-driven functions such as recording, wireless connectivity and profile-based setup.

the device shows me a distant image, it means zoom to 5, and the view through the lens as if there is no zoom means real distance, and when it is at 2,100 m, it looks as far as 200

uređaj mi prikazuje udaljenu sliku znači zoom na 5 a pogled kroz objektiv kao da nema zooma znači realna daljina , a kada je na 2 100 m izgleda daleko kao 200
