At Shot Show 2024, Holosun’s display attracted a large audience, which comes as no surprise given their annual unveiling of numerous innovations. This article will delve into the new SCS Carry‘s specifications.
Holosun had many new products to show at Shot Show 2024. Check out our articles on SCS P10, AEMS Max, and the HM6X magnifier.
Holosun’s SCS series
The conventional SCS lineup includes open-reflex dot sights tailored for direct attachment to specific optic-ready handguns like the H&K VP9 and S&W M&P 2.0. Among these, the SCS 320, crafted specifically for the Sig Sauer P320, stands out as the sole model with an enclosed design.

The features of the SCS Carry
The SCS Carry maintains a similar design to the SCS 320 but in a more compact form. Unlike the SCS 320, which features the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro mounting standard, the SCS Carry adopts the 407/507K mounting standard. It comes with a converter plate (Holosun 407/507K to Shield RMS) to ensure broad compatibility with various optic-ready pistols, mainly targeting sub-compact handguns.

No external battery
This model is solar powered, featuring an internal battery that’s charged via a solar panel on the lens frame. Its illumination automatically adjusts to the ambient light, thanks to the multi-sensor brightness control system. Manual adjustment is available for scenarios where auto-adjustment may not be effective, such as low-light conditions against a bright backdrop. For now, it is available exclusively with green illumination.
Single-button operation
SCS Carry introduces a single-button operation for toggling illumination and switching between reticle options (2 MOA dot, circle dot, circle only). The device features an aspheric lens to minimize distortion, providing a clear view with minimal tint.

Robust and durable
The construction is durable and solid, characteristic of a Holosun dot sight, utilizing 7075 T6 aluminum. Its enclosed design ensures it can withstand adverse weather by preventing debris from entering between the diode and lens. Additionally, it’s designed to be waterproof with a nitrogen-purged interior, offering reassurance against moisture.
As one of the smallest enclosed dot sights on the market, the SCS Carry is sure to make a notable entrance into the market. In Europe, it is anticipated to retail for around 520 €.

The pistol in the first picture looks like a P365 of some sort, but with a different grip module (looks like a metal module with G10 grip panels). Does anyone know the manufacturer of the grip module? Thanks
What gun is that with the straight grip panels and the triangular magazine release? It’s really clean and I want one. It definitely looks like a SIG of some sort.
You are right, that’s a SIG Sauer P365.
