Introduction
At Shot Show, I visited Burris’ booth to check out their new products. Burris is a well-known manufacturer of sports optics for hunters, bird watchers, and competitive shooters. This year, Burris introduced a new series of rifle scopes for PRS and long-range shooting (XTR III), a new F-class reticle for the XTR II 8-40×56, and a quick-detachable P.E.P.R. Mount.
New XTR 3 Rifle scopes
The new series is called XTR 3, and it is to be their new flagship series of rifle scopes. In this series, 2 new rifle scopes will be available – 3.3-18×50 and 5.5-30×56.

New F-Class DHC reticle
This new reticle is designed for F-Class shooting, and for only one model specifically, the XTR II 8-40×50. This new reticle is very thin and thus perfect for benchrest and F-Class competitions. The XTR 2 8-40×50 has a 5x zoom ratio and an adjustable parallax from 50 meters to infinity, so it is suitable also for very precise short range shooting as well.
New AR-Signature QD P.E.P.R. Mount
The new QD P.E.P.R. mount is designed for AR platform rifles to ensure a perfect eye-relief thanks to the cantilever design. This new mount features quick-release levers for fast and repeatable detaching and mounting, and special polymer ring inserts which provide 5 to 40 MOA of inclination.
This new Burris mount will be available for rifle scopes with a mounting diameter of 30 millimeters, 34 millimeters, and 35 millimeters. The design is very slick and the mount will surely look great on any weapon platform.
