Introduction
Headquartered in Turkey, 3E is a manufacturer of optics, focusing mainly on the tactical segment. At this year’s IWA, they have presented some novelties in this field. Along with the combat scope that operates at both 1x and 4x magnification, they introduced two new riflescopes, Keskin 3–12×50 and 5–25×56.
Features
Keskin 5–25×56 is very similar to the Schmidt & Bender PM II riflescope with the same magnification range. Schmidt & Bender was the first manufacturer that introduced this type of riflescopes to the market. Soon, many other manufacturers followed the trend. 3E is known for producing quality optics; Keskin 5–25×56 is somewhere on the level of Kahles and MAK tactical riflescopes as regards optical and build quality but is the most affordable. It features Schott glass, a mil-mil configuration and CCW turrets with zero stop. There are two reticles to choose from – both are based on the famous mil-dot reticle. 3E might expand the offer in the future, adding the option of choosing CW turrets and other reticles.
Conclusion
This riflescope is sure to attract attention because of its cost – the expected retail price is 2200 € which is much cheaper than PM II riflescopes made by Schmidt & Bender.
