Celestron NexStar 6 SE Computerized telescope

1. Schmidt-Cassegrain Optical Design: This telescope employs a Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) catadioptric design, which uses both mirrors and lenses to produce a compact, powerful optical tube with a long focal length. It excels in delivering sharp, high-contrast images ideal for both planetary observation and deep-sky viewing, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of astronomical pursuits.

2. Computerized GoTo Mount: Equipped with Celestron's renowned GoTo technology, the NexStar 6 SE automatically locates and tracks over 40,000 celestial objects with impressive accuracy. This feature significantly enhances the observing experience by taking the guesswork out of finding faint objects, allowing beginners and experienced observers alike to dedicate more time to actual viewing.

3. StarBright XLT Optical Coatings: The optics feature Celestron's proprietary StarBright XLT coatings. This advanced multi-layer coating system increases light transmission across the entire visible spectrum, resulting in significantly brighter images with enhanced contrast and resolution, even on challenging targets like galaxies and nebulae.

4. SkyAlign Technology: Setting up the telescope is made incredibly simple with Celestron's patented SkyAlign alignment procedure. Users only need to center three bright stars in the eyepiece, and the NexStar 6 SE automatically determines the date, time, and location, quickly getting you ready for a night of stargazing.
