Celestron NexStar Evolution 6

1. Optical Design: The Celestron NexStar Evolution 6 features a Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) optical design. This catadioptric system combines both mirrors and lenses to produce a powerful, long focal length telescope in a compact and portable tube, ideal for both planetary observation and deep-sky viewing.

2. Integrated Wi-Fi Control: Experience seamless celestial navigation with the built-in Wi-Fi, allowing you to control the telescope wirelessly from your smartphone or tablet using Celestron's free SkyPortal app. This provides an intuitive and modern way to explore the night sky.

3. Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery: Unlike other models requiring external power, the Evolution 6 comes with an integrated, long-lasting LiFePO4 battery, providing up to 10 hours of continuous use. This enhances portability and eliminates the need for external power sources or bulky battery packs.

4. Enhanced Portability and Setup: Designed for convenience, its single fork arm mount is easy to set up and transport, making it an excellent choice for astronomers who value quick deployment. The robust construction and intelligent design ensure stability for clear, steady views.

ABOUT THE CELESTRON NEXSTAR EVOLUTION 6

The Celestron NexStar Evolution 6 stands out in its series by integrating cutting-edge technology directly into its design, making it remarkably user-friendly and portable. This advanced Schmidt-Cassegrain (SCT) telescope system provides crisper images with less chromatic aberration than traditional optical designs, perfect for observing lunar craters, planetary details, and distant galaxies. What truly sets it apart is the built-in Wi-Fi module for intuitive wireless control via your smart device, and an integrated, rechargeable LiFePO4 battery that powers up to ten hours of stargazing, eliminating the need for external power sources or cumbersome cables. With a 150mm (6-inch) aperture, it gathers ample light for bright, clear views, and its precise computerized GoTo mount automatically tracks celestial objects across the sky. This telescope is ideal for both visual observations and casual astrophotography, appealing to intermediate astronomers and those seeking a high-performance, easy-to-use instrument for backyard or field use. Its robust design features an aluminum optical tube and a sturdy steel tripod, ensuring stability and durability.
