Burris Signature HD 3-15x44

• 3-15x magnification range: Covers the gap between close woodland shots and longer open-country work, so one riflescope can handle stalking, general hunting, and deliberate shot placement at distance.
• 44 mm objective with fully multicoated glass: Delivers a bright, clear image with good contrast, helping the target stand out in mixed light and making longer sessions behind the scope less tiring.
• Side parallax adjustment from 22.8 m to infinity: Lets the image and reticle stay optically aligned across a wide range of distances, which supports more precise aiming when shooting small targets or stretching the range.
• Capped turrets with zero stop: Protect the settings during field carry while still allowing a reliable return to the original zero after dialing elevation for longer shots.
• 1 in. tube and 567.00 g weight: Keeps the scope trim enough for practical hunting rifle setups, balancing useful magnification with manageable size and carry weight.

About the Burris Siganture HD Series

The Burris Signature HD series was introduced in 2020 as a hunting riflescope line for serious hunters and shooters who want a step up in optical quality and mechanical refinement without moving into oversized target optics. The family includes 2-10x40mm, 3-15x44mm and 5-25x50mm models, giving the series a broad spread from general-purpose hunting to more deliberate long-range use.

A defining trait of the line is its mix of practical field handling and more advanced control features. Premium multi-coated glass is used across the series to improve image brightness and contrast, while the mechanical layout adds features normally associated with more specialized precision scopes. Depending on the model, the series is offered with front- and rear-focal-plane reticle options, allowing shooters to choose between simpler hunting-oriented sight pictures and reticle systems better suited to holdovers and dialing. The Signature HD concept also emphasizes durability, with waterproof, shockproof and fogproof construction intended for hard field use in changing weather.

About the Burris Signature HD 3-15x44

The Burris Signature HD 3-15x44 sits in the middle of the series and makes particular sense as a versatile hunting riflescope for centerfire rifles that may be used at very different distances in the same season. At 3x, it remains practical for closer shots where a broad view and fast target pickup matter. At 15x, it gives enough image scale for careful shot placement on smaller targets or for shooting across open ground where precise aiming becomes more important.

The optical layout combines a 44.00 mm objective with fully multicoated lenses, helping the scope maintain a clear, high-contrast image through the magnification range. Its 11.40 m/100m to 2.30 m/100m field of view reflects that dual-purpose role: wide enough at low power for general hunting use, yet suitably focused at the top end for more deliberate shooting. Eye relief of 88.90 mm to 96.50 mm also supports comfortable use on typical hunting rifles.

This version uses capped turrets, which suit a field rifle because the settings are shielded from accidental movement while walking, climbing, or carrying the rifle in a vehicle or scabbard. At the same time, the scope includes a zero stop, so the shooter can dial and then return positively to the original zero. The side-focus parallax adjustment from 22.8 m to infinity is especially useful on a 15x top end, where correcting parallax helps keep the reticle visually stable on the target and supports more exact shot placement.

About Burris

Burris was founded in 1971 by Don Burris and is headquartered in Greeley, Colorado, United States. The company focuses on sporting and tactical optics, with a catalogue that includes riflescopes, red-dot and reflex sights, binoculars, spotting scopes, rangefinders, thermal optics, rings, and mounts. That broad product range has kept Burris closely tied to both hunting optics and practical shooting applications.

Several milestones help define the brand’s place in this category. Burris began marketing its Fullfield riflescope series in 1975, introduced the Ballistic Plex trajectory-compensating reticle in 2000, and later expanded into compact reflex sights with the FastFire in 2007. In 2010, Burris introduced the Eliminator riflescope, combining laser rangefinding with automatic bullet-drop compensation. Beretta Holdings acquired Burris in 2002, and the brand remains well known for practical riflescope design aimed at real field use.
