ZeroTech Thrive 3-9x40

• Versatile 3-9x magnification: The 3-9x range covers the kind of distances most hunting riflescopes are asked to handle, giving a wide enough view for closer shots and enough top-end magnification for more deliberate aiming farther out.
• 40 mm objective with fully multi-coated lenses: The optical system is built to deliver a bright, clear sight picture with useful contrast in mixed light, helping with target definition during early starts, late finishes and shaded woodland conditions.
• 30 mm maintube: A 30 mm tube gives the scope a solid platform and supports the full internal adjustment range, which is useful when zeroing different rifles or loads while keeping the scope compact and practical.
• Capped 0.25 MOA turrets: The capped turret layout protects the settings from accidental movement in the field, while the positive click value allows straightforward zeroing and simple correction when needed.
• Fixed-parallax hunting setup: With no side focus to manage, the scope stays quick and uncomplicated in use, which suits stalking, general-purpose hunting and rifles that need a dependable sighting system rather than a target-style control layout.

About the ZeroTech Thrive Series

ZeroTech Thrive is the brand’s accessible all-round riflescope family, built for hunters and shooters who want practical features in a straightforward package. The series includes both conventional variable-power models and low-power variable optics, covering everything from general hunting rifles to faster-handling carbines. Within the range, ZeroTech offers several familiar reticle styles, with documented variants including PHR, Duplex, Mildot, G4 and ZEROPLEX, so the line can suit shooters who prefer either simple aiming references or more structured holdover layouts.

In ZeroTech’s lineup, the standard Thrive models sit below Thrive HD, focusing on dependable field use, sensible controls and broad everyday usability. The series is presented as an affordable riflescope line, and the model spread reflects that purpose: practical magnification ranges, hunting-friendly dimensions and uncomplicated turret systems that are easy to live with on working rifles. Current and documented models such as the 3-9x40, 3-12x44 and 4-16x50 show the family’s emphasis on covering common hunting and range applications without moving into overly specialized long-range or tactical configurations.

About the ZeroTech Thrive 3-9x40

The ZeroTech Thrive 3-9x40 is a classic general-purpose hunting riflescope built around one of the most useful magnification ranges in sporting optics. At 3x, it remains easy to use for shorter-range shots and moving game, while 9x gives enough image scale for more careful placement at longer distances. Combined with a 40 mm objective lens, this layout keeps the scope trim and well balanced on stalking rifles, rimfire setups and everyday centrefire hunting rifles.

Its optical design supports practical field use rather than bench-only shooting. The scope offers a 12.90 m/100m to 4.00 m/100m field of view, giving a useful balance between awareness at low power and a more concentrated sight picture at higher magnification. An 88.00 mm to 97.00 mm eye relief range helps maintain comfortable head position and adds welcome clearance on rifles with more noticeable recoil. The 13.00 mm to 4.40 mm exit pupil range also supports a bright, easy-to-acquire image across the zoom span.

Mechanically, this model is configured for straightforward reliability. The 30 mm tube provides a robust mounting platform and houses 60.00 MOA of both elevation and windage adjustment. Capped turrets suit hunting use because they protect the settings from knocks and unintentional movement when the rifle is carried in a vehicle, on a sling or through brush. With fixed parallax and no locking turrets or zero stop, the scope stays simple to operate, which is often exactly what is wanted on a rifle that must be ready without extra adjustment steps. At 540.00 g and 322.00 mm long, it remains substantial enough to feel durable without becoming oversized.

About ZeroTech

ZeroTech Optics was founded in Australia in 2018 by Tasco Sales (AUST) Pty Ltd. The company develops sport optics for hunters, shooters and outdoor users, with a catalogue that includes riflescopes, spotting scopes, binoculars and reflex sights. ZeroTech states that its Australian team designs, engineers and quality-assures its riflescopes, reflecting a product approach focused on practical field use rather than purely catalogue-driven specifications.

Within the riflescope category, ZeroTech’s main families include Vengeance, Thrive and Trace. The brand also highlights its use of proprietary reticles and precision turret systems, which are central to how its optics are differentiated across entry-level and more advanced lines. After its launch, ZeroTech established a United States base in 2020 and expanded distribution internationally, building a reputation around accessible sporting optics with configurations aimed at real hunting and shooting applications.
