Vortex Optics is an optics manufacturer with headquarters in the US. They manufacture products in China, the Philippines, Japan, and the USA. Vortex is known for its amazing lifetime warranty and products that are great value for money.

Like his leaner cousin, the Crossfire II 4-12x50 AO is a reliable, simple and affordable scope that can compete with any scope on the market in this range, but comes with a few extra features that never fail to impress. This great scope has multi-coated lenses and a single piece body made for use and abuse.

The magnification range is perfect for any hunting scenario, from stalking to shooting at longer ranges, and the larger than usual 50mm lens will offer brightness at most conditions.

Advanced Features

The tube is manufactured out of a single piece of aircraft grade aluminum for both durability and increased accuracy. The hard anodizing protects the material from corrosion and the elements, as well as against scratches. All the joints feature O-ring seals which prevent moisture, water, and debris from entering the scope, while nitrogen gas purging of the inside will prevent any internal fogging.

The construction of the single piece tube on this Vortex Crossfire II is rugged and will withstand both impacts as well as the recoil of any caliber. The lenses are multi-coated in all lens-to-air surfaces to ensure a sharp and clear image as well as protect the lens from stains and scratches.

Reticle Illumination

The Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x50 AO does not come with an illuminated reticle, but let’s in enough light for shooting at lower light.

The lenses are high quality and fully multi-coated for durability and a sharp and crisp image. The lens itself is of a perfect size to let in enough light and has a forgiving eye-box for comfortable shooting in any conditions. The AO – Adjustable Objective system enables adjustments for the scopes objective lens for a greater image focus and parallax removal.

Configuration Options

The turrets are capped for protection and resettable for easy zero re-indexing after sighting it in. The parallax is adjustable from 9 meters to infinity with the use of the side turret. The scope features a fast focus eyepiece for easy and fast adjustment to your eye.

The maximal adjustment for both windage and elevation is 50 MOA at 15 MOA per turn. The adjustment graduation is ¼ MOA per click which offers a relatively fine tuning possibility. It features a dead hold BDC reticle with a built-in bullet drop compensation system.

Warranty Information
