Pulsar Telos XP50 Product description

Modular Design: The Pulsar Telos XP50 features a modular construction that allows users to upgrade key components, including the sensor, lens, and even add a laser rangefinder. This flexibility ensures the device can evolve with user needs over time, making it a long-term investment.

Excellent Image Quality: This model is equipped with a 640x480 thermal sensor with a 17 μm pixel pitch and NETD under 40 mK, delivering detailed thermal images even in low-contrast weather conditions. Its fast aperture f/1.0 lens enhances detection and identification ranges.

Comfortable Viewing: The Telos XP50 is fitted with a high-quality eyepiece that reduces distortion and increases eye relief, offering a more natural and fatigue-free viewing experience. It is especially suitable for extended observation sessions.

Future-Ready Build: Designed for longevity, the Telos XP50 benefits from replaceable hardware, a durable rubber-armored housing, regular software updates, and full service support within the EU. Its interchangeable LPS 7i battery ensures continuous operation in the field.

ABOUT THE TELOS SERIES

The Telos series from Pulsar introduces a new concept in thermal imaging technology — full modularity. This design principle allows users to upgrade their devices over time by swapping out core components such as sensors, lenses, or by adding modules like laser rangefinders. With a focus on sustainability and long-term usability, the Telos series is ideal for demanding users who want to future-proof their investment.

Each Telos device is constructed with premium materials, features IPX7 waterproofing, and supports features such as video recording, Wi-Fi streaming, and enhanced ergonomics. Whether for hunting, rescue operations, or professional surveillance, the Telos series offers reliability and flexibility for evolving user needs.

ABOUT THE MODEL (TELOS XP50)

The Telos XP50 is equipped with a 640x480 thermal sensor with a 17 μm pixel pitch and a NETD below 40 mK. This configuration ensures highly detailed and contrast-rich imagery, even in rain, fog, or cold weather. The 50 mm f/1.0 germanium lens delivers strong detection capabilities and wide field of view performance.

The model includes a high-resolution AMOLED display and supports multiple thermal color palettes. It features a redesigned eyepiece that improves comfort and reduces image distortion, making long sessions more manageable.

The Telos XP50 uses the replaceable and rechargeable LPS 7i battery pack, providing extended operational time and convenient USB-C charging. While it does not include a laser rangefinder by default, it can be upgraded with one in the future thanks to its modular design. This model represents an excellent balance between performance and cost, especially now that higher-end variants like the XL50 have been introduced.

Hi, What thermal monoculars have the longest detection range? I will be using it on a vast cattle ranch in the US., both for detecting cattle, but also wolves and coyotes. Do the hunting scopes have a much longer range? If so, we could look at this too. I would appreciate any recommendations. We can get pulsars here in the US, but not thermtech or hikmicro. Also, if you ship to the US, I assume there is no VAT? Thanks,

by Haven

Dear Sir!

This model is definitely one of the best on the market (especially considering its price) and its detection range is over 1800 meters (1.12 mile).

There is also one model even better, and that is: https://www.optics-trade.eu/en/pulsar-telos-xl50.html

This one has a detection range of 2300 meters (1.43 miles) and superb image quality.

Unfortunately, we are not able to ship thermal optics outside of EU.
