Noblex Vector 8x42

• 8x42 configuration: The combination of 8x magnification and a 42 mm objective gives this binocular a steady image with enough brightness for woodland, field edges, and general outdoor use from daylight into the late evening.
• Open-bridge body: The reach-through design makes the Noblex Vector 8x42 easier to hold securely with one hand, which helps when glassing on the move or adjusting focus quickly.
• Long eye relief: With 19.50 mm of eye relief, the binocular is more comfortable for extended observation and better suited to eyeglass wearers who need to see the full field of view.
• Roof-prism optical system: The Schmidt/Pechan roof prisms keep the binocular slim and easy to pack while supporting the straight-barrel shape many users prefer for hunting optics and bird watching binoculars.
• Weather-sealed construction: A waterproof, fogproof, nitrogen-filled housing helps the binocular stay dependable in rain, cold mornings, and changing temperatures where internal fogging can interrupt observation.

About the Noblex Vector Series

The Noblex Vector series is built as a practical all-round binocular line for users who want a compact roof-prism format for hunting, nature observation, outdoor activities, and sports. Within the range, NOBLEX currently offers 8x42, 10x42, and 8x56 versions, giving the series a clear spread from general daytime use to lower-light observation. The common design theme is a straightforward field binocular with an emphasis on manageable size, secure handling, and dependable optical performance rather than unnecessary bulk.

Across the series, roof-prism construction keeps the shape slim, while multicoated lenses, BAK-4 prisms, and anti-reflective prism coatings are used to support contrast and image brightness in real outdoor conditions. NOBLEX also builds the Vector line around rubber-armored housings and center-wheel focusing, which suits fast target changes and frequent use in the field. In the 8x42 and 10x42 models, the open-bridge layout adds easier one-handed handling, making these binoculars especially well suited to mobile observation where comfort and grip matter as much as optical clarity.

About the Noblex Vector 8x42

The Noblex Vector 8x42 is the most balanced general-purpose model in the series, combining 8x magnification with a 42 mm objective lens for a view that is bright, steady, and easy to use over long periods. This format works especially well for hunting binoculars and bird watching binoculars because it gives enough reach for scanning open ground while remaining forgiving in hand-held use. The 5.25 mm exit pupil also helps maintain a relaxed view in dimmer conditions, which is useful at dawn, dusk, or in shaded woodland.

Its 115.00 m/1000m field of view supports quick orientation and easier tracking of moving animals or birds, while the 2.50 m close focus keeps the binocular versatile for nearby observation as well. The 19.50 mm eye relief is a practical advantage for eyeglass wearers and for anyone who values a less critical viewing position during extended sessions. Optically, the fully multicoated lenses and Schmidt/Pechan roof prisms are chosen to deliver a clear, contrast-rich image in a compact body.

Mechanically, the binocular is designed for field carry rather than bench use. The open-bridge body improves grip security, the central focusing system allows fast adjustment with one hand, and the 670.00 g weight keeps it substantial enough to feel stable without becoming burdensome on longer walks. With a waterproof, fogproof, nitrogen-filled housing, it is built for changing weather and repeated outdoor use where reliability matters as much as image quality.

About Noblex

Noblex is an optics manufacturer with deep roots in Eisfeld, Thuringia, Germany, where binoculars and riflescopes have been produced since 1968. The company’s product range covers binoculars, riflescopes, and reflex sights, while its electronic optics work also includes night vision, laser rangefinding, and thermal imaging. This mix of traditional sporting optics and modern electro-optics gives the brand a broad technical base across observation and aiming products.

The Eisfeld site continued after German reunification as Docter-Optic-Eisfeld GmbH from 1991, and NOBLEX GmbH acquired the site on May 1, 2016. The company also continued the well-known DOCTER sight line under the NOBLEX name. In November 2020, NOBLEX E-Optics GmbH took over significant assets of the former NOBLEX GmbH, maintaining the Eisfeld connection that remains central to the brand’s identity in sporting optics.
