Burris Handgun Scope 3-12x32

• Long eye relief: Built for handgun use, the extended eye relief helps keep the scope usable on heavy-recoiling pistols while still giving a stable sight picture from field positions.
• 3-12x variable magnification: The wide zoom range lets the scope cover both deliberate close-to-mid-range shots and more precise long-distance handgun hunting without changing optics.
• Ballistic Plex reticle: This rear focal plane reticle gives a simple holdover reference that is faster to use in the field than dialing for every shot, especially with familiar loads.
• Adjustable objective parallax: Parallax adjustment from 22.8 m to infinity helps sharpen the image and reduce aiming error as shooting distances increase.
• Recoil-resistant 1-piece construction: The one-piece tube, nitrogen filling, and weather-sealed build help the scope hold zero and stay clear through recoil, rain, and temperature changes.

About the Burris Handgun Series

The Burris Handgun series sits within the company’s riflescope lineup as a purpose-built option for handgun hunting, where recoil resistance and long eye relief matter more than compact dimensions alone. Rather than adapting a standard riflescope format, Burris built this family around the needs of scoped revolvers and specialty pistols used for deliberate shooting at extended distances. A defining trait across the series is the combination of long eye relief with a 1-inch body tube, giving shooters mounting flexibility while preserving the safe head position powerful handguns demand.

The series also follows a durable mechanical design, using a one-piece outer tube and a double internal spring-tension system to better withstand recoil, vibration, and repeated field use. Hi-Lume multicoated lenses are used to reduce glare and support low-light visibility, while waterproof, nitrogen-filled construction helps prevent internal fogging in wet or cold conditions. Within the range, Burris offers both simple Plex-style aiming solutions and trajectory-oriented reticle options, making the series suitable for hunters who want either a clean sight picture or practical holdover references. The lineup spans fixed and variable models, including compact 2x options and higher-magnification versions for longer-range handgun work.

About the Burris Handgun Scope 3-12x32

The Burris Handgun Scope 3-12x32 is the highest-magnification model in the series, built for shooters who want a handgun scope that can stretch practical range without giving up the eye relief and durability a powerful pistol requires. Its 3-12x magnification range makes it more versatile than a fixed-power handgun optic: lower settings are more forgiving for field shooting, while the upper end gives the aiming precision needed for small targets or careful shot placement at longer distances. That makes it especially well suited to hunting with scoped revolvers and single-shot handguns from supported positions.

The scope uses a Ballistic Plex reticle in the second focal plane, keeping the reticle appearance consistent as magnification changes. In practice, that gives a clear aiming point that does not become overly fine at low power or overly heavy at high power, while the holdover layout supports faster distance compensation once matched to a known load. The capped turrets protect the adjustments from accidental movement during carry, which suits a hunting optic better than exposed target-style controls. With 1/8 MOA clicks and multi-turn adjustment travel, the scope allows fine zeroing rather than coarse correction.

An adjustable objective parallax system, set from 22.8 m to infinity, helps maintain image sharpness and reduce aiming error as distance changes. Fully multicoated optics, a fast-focus eyepiece, nitrogen filling, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction complete a design intended for real field use, not bench-only shooting.

About Burris

Burris was founded in 1971 and took its name from founder Don Burris. The company is based in Greeley, Colorado, United States, and has long focused on practical optics for hunting and tactical use. Burris expanded its riflescope presence with the Fullfield line in 1975 and later introduced technologies that became closely associated with the brand, including the Ballistic Plex trajectory-compensating reticle in 2000 and the FastFire mini red-dot reflex sight in 2007.

Today, Burris produces a broad range of sport optics and mounting solutions, including riflescopes, red-dot and reflex sights, binoculars, spotting scopes, rangefinders, thermal optics, rings, and mounts. The company became part of Beretta Holdings in 2002, and its reputation in this category is tied to durable field-oriented designs that emphasize useful reticles, dependable mechanics, and recoil resistance for demanding hunting applications.
