March-F 1-8x24 Product description

  • 1-8x LPVO range: The wide magnification span covers close, fast targets at 1x and gives enough reach at 8x for more deliberate shots, making the scope practical for dynamic shooting and short- to mid-range hunting or tactical use.
  • First focal plane reticle: Because the reticle scale stays consistent throughout the zoom range, holdovers and ranging remain true at any magnification instead of only at one preset power.
  • Side parallax adjustment from 10 m to infinity: Close-range parallax correction is useful for rimfire training, airgun use, and precision work at shorter distances, while still allowing proper focus for longer shots.
  • Tactical multi-turn turrets: The exposed CCW turrets with 10 MIL per turn are easier to read and adjust quickly when dialing elevation in the field or on the range.
  • Compact 30 mm build: With a 258.00 mm length and 530.00 g weight, this riflescope keeps an LPVO-style setup relatively trim while still providing robust construction, illumination, and side focus.

About the March F Series

The March F series is March’s first focal plane riflescope family built around 30 mm body tubes, aimed at shooters who want consistent reticle subtensions across the full magnification range. In practical terms, that means the reticle’s scale value remains constant as magnification changes, which is especially useful for holdovers, ranging, and fast corrections without having to stay on one exact power setting.

Within the lineup, March F models cover everything from 1-8x24 low-power variable optics to higher-magnification 3-24x configurations, giving the series a broad role across short-, middle-, and precision-oriented shooting. The 1-8x24 versions are positioned for short- and middle-range use, where a wide field of view, quick target acquisition, and dependable reticle behavior matter more than extreme magnification. March also offers different reticle options within this family, including FMC-1, FMC-2, and FMC-3 on the 1-8x24 models, along with illuminated and non-illuminated variants depending on the exact configuration. The result is a series that combines compact dimensions with a mechanically practical FFP layout for shooters who want one optic to cover varied distances and shooting tempos.

About the March-F 1-8x24

The March-F 1-8x24 is a compact LPVO riflescope designed for shooters who need one optic to handle both rapid engagement at close range and more precise work farther out. At 1.00 x to 8.00 x, it can be used in a fast, heads-up style at the low end, then shifted to higher magnification when target identification, shot placement, or small aiming points become more important. Its 24.00 mm objective lens keeps the scope trim and well suited to lightweight carbines and practical rifle setups.

A key part of this model’s character is its FFP reticle layout. Because the reticle remains proportionally correct throughout the zoom range, the shooter can use reticle-based holds without being tied to one magnification setting. That is a real advantage in practical competition, training, and field shooting where distances can change quickly. The red illuminated reticle helps the aiming point stand out against darker backgrounds, while the fast focus eyepiece makes it easier to tune the reticle image to the shooter’s eye.

This model also adds features not always found on low-power optics. Side parallax adjustment from 10 m - Infinity improves image focus and aiming precision at unusually short distances as well as at longer range. The tactical multi-turn turrets provide 10 MIL per turn with 16.28 mrad of elevation and windage travel, giving the scope more dialing flexibility than a basic capped LPVO. Fully multicoated lenses, argon filling, and waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction round out a design that is meant to stay usable across changing weather, hard handling, and varied shooting roles.

About March

March is the riflescope brand of DEON Optical Design Corporation, a Japanese company established in 2004 and headquartered in Chino, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. DEON designs and manufactures March custom rifle scopes, and the brand is known for keeping production in Japan with Japanese-made components and assembly in Japan. That background is important in this category because it reflects a strong focus on optical consistency and mechanical precision rather than broad mass-market production.

Within the March range, DEON has developed several distinct lines, including March-FX, March-X, Genesis, and High Master. The company introduced its first March 40×52 mm benchrest scope in 2007, and later brought Super ED lenses into the March lineup in 2017. DEON also developed the High Master lens system, which uses Super ED and high-refractive-index lens elements, and the Genesis line with its external adjustment system. In practical terms, March has built its reputation around specialized rifle optics for shooters who place a high value on repeatable tracking, refined reticle design, and Japanese optical manufacture.
