Holosun DRS-TH

• Thermal and red dot fusion: The DRS-TH combines a reflex sight with an integrated thermal channel, so heat signatures appear inside a familiar sight picture for faster target detection in darkness, brush, smoke, or mixed backgrounds.
• Multi-Reticle System: A selectable 2 MOA dot and 65 MOA circle let the sight adapt from quick, close-range acquisition to more deliberate aiming without changing optics.
• 1024×768 OLED display with 50 FPS refresh rate: The high-resolution display and smooth refresh help thermal detail look more natural in motion, which makes scanning and tracking less fatiguing.
• Selectable thermal zoom and image modes: With 1x, 3x, and 5x digital zoom plus White Hot, Black Hot, Outline, and Highlight-style viewing options, the sight can be tuned for recognition in different terrain and temperature conditions.
• 7075-T6 aluminum housing with IP67 protection: The robust body, waterproof construction, and recoil-rated design support hard field use on practical rifle setups where weather, impact, and vibration matter.

About the Holosun DRS Series

The Holosun DRS series was introduced in 2023 as a different take on the red dot sight, combining a conventional aiming system with a digital imaging channel inside one optic body. In Holosun’s lineup, the series sits between standard reflex sights and dedicated digital observation devices, giving shooters a familiar sight picture while adding either night vision or thermal capability. The family includes the DRS-NV digital night-vision model and the DRS-TH thermal model, while the DRS-TH remains the active model on Holosun’s product range.

A defining trait of the series is that it keeps the handling of a red dot while adding imaging functions that help with detection and identification in poor light or visually cluttered environments. Both models use a 7075-T6 aluminum housing, carry IP67 protection, and include internal video recording, so the design is not only about seeing more but also about preserving the compact, ready-to-use character expected from a fighting or hunting optic. The series also uses Holosun’s Multi-Reticle System with a 2 MOA dot and 65 MOA circle, which keeps the aiming interface familiar even as the optic adds digital capability.

About the Holosun DRS-TH

The Holosun DRS-TH is built for shooters who want the speed of a 1x reflex sight but also need thermal detection for hunting, pest control, property surveillance, or work in low-visibility conditions. Instead of forcing a move to a larger dedicated thermal scope, this model keeps the fast presentation and natural heads-up feel of a red dot while overlaying thermal information in the viewing window. That makes it especially useful where the first challenge is not precise holdover at long distance, but quickly spotting a heat source and confirming where to aim.

Its thermal system uses a 256×192 sensor, a 1024×768 OLED display, and a 50 FPS refresh rate. In practice, that gives the DRS-TH a smoother and clearer thermal image than basic low-refresh systems, helping the user follow moving animals or scan uneven terrain with less lag. The selectable 1x, 3x, and 5x digital zoom extends recognition capability when the target is farther out, while multiple image modes help separate heat from background clutter depending on weather and terrain. Integrated video recording is useful for documenting shots, reviewing movement, or keeping a record of field activity.

As a sight, the DRS-TH retains Holosun’s familiar 2 MOA dot and 65 MOA circle arrangement, giving a fast center reference for close work and a larger ring that is easy to pick up under stress. 0.5 MOA clicks and ±50 MOA windage and elevation travel provide practical zeroing control, while the 7075-T6 aluminum housing, IP67 sealing, and recoil resistance support use on Picatinny-mounted rifle platforms in demanding field conditions.

About Holosun

Holosun has worked on optics and laser and infrared technologies since 2013 and is headquartered in California while using a global manufacturing network. The company focuses on sights, lasers, and illumination systems for shooting, hunting, law enforcement, and military use, which explains why its product range spans everything from compact pistol optics to rifle sights and aiming lasers. Holosun’s early product history includes the 403 Series in 2015, followed by the 510C in 2016 and the 507C and 508T pistol sight lines in 2017.

The brand is especially known for practical electronic sight features such as Shake Awake, Solar Failsafe, and the Multi-Reticle System. Those technologies helped establish Holosun as a manufacturer that emphasizes battery efficiency, adaptable reticles, and durable electronic optics. In the thermal and digital sight category, that same design approach carries over into products like the DRS series, where conventional red dot handling is combined with added imaging capability.
