Athlon Midas Strobe

• 2 MOA Red Dot with Wide Field of View: The 2 MOA dot is precise enough for accurate shots beyond close range, while the 25 mm objective and wide field of view make it easy to shoot with both eyes open and keep track of the surroundings.
• Motion Sensor Activation: The sight enters sleep mode after 5 minutes without movement and switches back on as soon as it detects motion. Combined with 50,000 hours of battery life from a single CR2032, the Strobe is ready to use whenever the firearm is picked up.
• Low Parallax: Athlon specifies parallax of less than 1 MOA, so the point of aim stays consistent even when your head position behind the sight is not perfectly centered, which matters during fast shooting from unconventional positions.
• Advanced Fully Multi-Coated Optics: Advanced fully multi-coated lenses provide good light transmission and natural color rendition, while the nitrogen-purged, one-piece aluminum chassis is waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof.

ABOUT THE ATHLON MIDAS SERIES

The Athlon Midas dot sight series brings together Athlon's compact red dots, prism sights, and magnifiers for close- and medium-range shooting. The series is aimed at shooters who want fast target acquisition on rifles, pistol-caliber carbines, shotguns, and handguns, whether for competition, hunting, or personal defense.

The line covers several sight types. Pistol red dots such as the Midas EDC, Midas EDC Pro, Midas Beam, Midas Burst, and Midas Flash are built for slide mounting. Rail-mounted red dot sights such as the Midas Strobe and Midas Blaze are intended for long guns. The Midas Flare prism sights are available in 1×, 3×, and 5× versions with an etched reticle, and the Midas M3 and M5 magnifiers extend the effective range of a red dot when placed behind it.

Midas sights share a practical design approach: fully multi-coated lenses for a clear, bright sight picture, aluminum housings for durability, and sealed construction for reliable use in wet and changing weather. Long battery life and simple controls make the sights easy to operate under pressure. This makes the Midas series a versatile choice for shooters building a complete close-range and mid-range sighting setup within one product family.

ABOUT THE MODEL (ATHLON MIDAS STROBE)

The Athlon Midas Strobe is a 1× red dot sight with a 25 mm objective lens, designed for fast close-range shooting on AR rifles and pistol-caliber carbines in competition and hunting. Its wide field of view and unlimited eye relief allow the shooter to keep both eyes open, maintaining full awareness of the surroundings while the dot is placed on target.

The 2 MOA red dot balances speed and precision. It is quick to find when the rifle is shouldered, yet small enough to aim accurately at targets further away. Athlon specifies parallax of less than 1 MOA, which keeps the point of impact consistent even if the eye is not perfectly aligned behind the sight. The lenses use Athlon's advanced fully multi-coated treatment for a bright, clear sight picture with natural colors.

Brightness is controlled with + and − buttons on the side of the housing, offering 10 illumination settings to suit conditions from bright daylight to low light. A lock mode prevents accidental changes or switching off, and the sight remembers the last setting after a battery change. The motion sensor puts the sight to sleep after 5 minutes without movement and wakes it instantly when the firearm is moved, helping the CR2032 battery reach up to 50,000 hours of use.

Windage and elevation are adjusted in 0.5 MOA clicks, approximately 1.45 cm at 100 m, using the included tool or a coin. The supplied Picatinny mount places the dot at a 1.57" center height, a common height for AR-platform rifles. With a one-piece aircraft aluminum chassis that is nitrogen-purged, waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof, the Midas Strobe is built to handle recoil and changing weather.
