ZeroTech Trace 4.5-27x50

• Wide 4.5-27x magnification range: covers everything from close-to-mid distance target work to precise shot placement at extended range, so one riflescope can handle varied shooting disciplines.
• R3 second focal plane reticle: keeps the reticle visually fine at higher magnification while remaining easy to pick up at lower power, which suits deliberate target shooting and hunting use alike.
• Locking tactical turrets with Zero Stop: help prevent accidental movement during transport and make it faster to return to a known zero after dialing elevation in the field or on the range.
• 92% light transmission and multicoated optics: support a bright, clear sight picture with good contrast, which helps when aiming in subdued light or against low-contrast backgrounds.
• Weatherproof, fogproof and shockproof construction: gives the scope the durability needed for regular use on working rifles in changing weather and rough handling conditions.

About the ZeroTech Trace Series

The ZeroTech Trace series is built for hunting, shooting and precision applications, giving shooters a line of riflescopes that balances practical field use with the control needed for more technical long-range work. Within ZeroTech’s lineup, Trace sits as a more capable family for users who want broader magnification ranges, purpose-built reticle options and dependable mechanical adjustment systems without moving into a purely specialist competition optic.

Trace and Trace Advanced variants give the series a broad role, from general long-range hunting optics to more dedicated precision shooting setups. Depending on model, the range includes first focal plane and second focal plane reticles, with designs such as R3 and RMG tailored to different holdover and ranging preferences. The series is defined by a straightforward mechanical layout, practical turret systems and optical performance aimed at demanding conditions, making it suitable for shooters who need a scope that can move between range use and field use without feeling overcomplicated.

About the ZeroTech Trace 4.5-27x50

The ZeroTech Trace 4.5-27x50 is a versatile long-range riflescope built around a 4.5-27x magnification range and a 50 mm objective lens, a combination that gives it the reach for precision target shooting while still remaining usable at lower power for broader field applications. At 4.5x, it offers a more forgiving view for locating targets and settling into position, while 27x provides the image scale needed for careful shot placement, load development and distance work where small aiming errors matter.

This version uses the R3 reticle in the second focal plane, which suits shooters who prefer a reticle image that stays visually consistent as magnification changes. That makes the centre aiming point easier to keep refined at high power, while the broader reticle structure remains easy to acquire at lower settings. Combined with a glass-etched reticle and 92% light transmission, the scope is designed to maintain a clear aiming picture in varied light and against mixed backgrounds.

The mechanical layout is equally important in practice. Locking tactical turrets, 0.1 MIL clicks, single-turn adjustment and a Zero Stop system make dialing straightforward and repeatable, whether the rifle is used for steel, paper or longer hunting shots where elevation corrections must be made quickly and then returned to zero with confidence. A 30 mm tube, side parallax adjustment from 25 m to infinity, and weatherproof, fogproof and shockproof construction complete a riflescope that is well suited to precision-oriented hunting optics and target rifles alike.

About ZeroTech

ZeroTech Optics was founded in Australia in 2018 by Tasco Sales (AUST) Pty Ltd. The company develops sport optics for hunters, shooters and outdoor users, with a product range that includes riflescopes, spotting scopes, binoculars and reflex sights. ZeroTech states that its Australian team is responsible for the design, engineering and quality assurance of its riflescopes, reflecting a focus on practical field performance rather than purely catalog-driven specification design.

Within the riflescope category, ZeroTech is known for using proprietary reticles and precision turret systems across families such as Vengeance, Thrive and Trace. The company expanded internationally with a United States base in 2020, supporting broader distribution beyond its home market. For riflescopes such as the Trace series, that background is relevant because it shows a clear emphasis on shooting-oriented reticle design, repeatable adjustments and optics configured for real hunting and range use.
