Sightron S6 10-60x56 ED Bench Rest

• 10-60x magnification range: starts low enough for finding the target and climbs to very high magnification for reading fine aiming detail, making it well suited to benchrest work where precise shot placement and target observation matter.
• 56 mm ED objective system: the large front lens and ED glass help deliver a bright, high-contrast image with reduced color fringing, which makes bullet holes, mirage and target edges easier to interpret at long distance.
• 1/8 MOA tactical adjustments with Zero Stop: fine click values support careful zeroing and exact corrections, while the Zero Stop gives a fast and repeatable return to the established zero after adjustment.
• 34 mm aluminum tube: the larger tube provides room for generous internal adjustment while keeping the scope rigid, which is useful for precise tracking and stable performance on dedicated target rifles.
• Side focus from 9.14 m to infinity: close parallax adjustment lets the image and reticle stay aligned across a wide range of distances, helping maintain accuracy when shooting from short benchrest distances out to far targets.

About the Sightron S6 Series

The Sightron S6 series sits in the brand’s modern premium riflescope range and covers a notably wide spread of applications, from 1-6x24 low-power optics to 10-60x56 high-magnification models. That broad span gives the series a clear role in the lineup: it is built for shooters who want one family of optics with a common design language but different configurations for competition, tactical use and hunting.

Across the range, the series is defined by ED glass and Zact-7 Revcoat Plus lens coatings, with models tailored to very different shooting styles. Some versions are configured for medium- and long-range work, while others are aimed at close-range speed or highly specialized target disciplines. The S6 family also includes both first- and second-focal-plane options in the 5-30x56 ED line, showing that the series is designed around practical application rather than a single format. At the top end, the 10-60x56 ED variants are offered in distinct Bench Rest and Field Target forms, underlining the series’ focus on discipline-specific reticles, controls and optical priorities.

About the Sightron S6 10-60x56 ED Bench Rest

The Sightron S6 10-60x56 ED Bench Rest is a purpose-built benchrest riflescope for shooters who need very high magnification, precise adjustment control and a clean, detailed image at the target. Its 10-60x zoom range gives useful flexibility: lower settings make it easier to settle onto the target and manage changing conditions, while the upper end helps with reading fine aiming marks, spotting impacts and judging subtle target detail that matters in score-driven shooting.

The optical system pairs a 56 mm objective with multicoated ED glass, a combination that supports image brightness, contrast and reduced chromatic aberration. In practical terms, that helps preserve edge definition and target clarity when magnification is pushed high, where lesser optics can become less forgiving. The scope also offers 87.10-100.70 mm eye relief, giving a comfortable head position and helping the image remain usable across the zoom range.

Mechanically, this model is set up for deliberate, repeatable correction work. The tactical turret system uses 1/8 MOA-style fine adjustment for careful zeroing and small point-of-impact changes, while 55.00 MOA elevation and 40.00 MOA windage provide meaningful adjustment travel for target setups. Zero Stop adds confidence when returning to a known zero after experimenting with settings. Side parallax adjustment from 9.14 m to infinity is especially useful on a benchrest scope because it lets the shooter tune out parallax error at the exact target distance. The 34 mm tube, 424.00 mm length and 952.00 g weight reflect a design that prioritizes optical performance and adjustment precision over compactness, while waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction supports dependable use in changing range conditions.

About Sightron

Sightron was originally based in Miami, Florida, and later moved its headquarters to North Carolina. The company began with red-dot sights and later expanded into hunting riflescopes and target scopes, building a catalog that also includes binoculars and spotting scopes. That background helps explain why Sightron has a strong presence in both practical field optics and more specialized target products.

In riflescopes, Sightron is particularly associated with Japanese manufacturing and with proprietary features such as Zact-7 Revcoat lens multicoating and the ExacTrack windage and elevation adjustment system used in several scope lines. Its lineup spans established series including SII, SIIB Big Sky, SIII, S-TAC and SV, covering everything from general hunting use to precision and competition shooting. For a model like the S6 10-60x56 ED Bench Rest, that reputation matters because it places the scope within a brand known for target-oriented optics and repeatable mechanical adjustment.
