Meprolight Mepro X4

• Fixed 4x prism system: The constant 4x magnification gives more target detail than a non-magnified sight while keeping the optic compact and quick to use on carbines and rifles.
• FFP illuminated reticle: The first focal plane design keeps the reticle proportionate to the image, helping holdovers stay intuitive as the sight picture remains consistent in practical field use.
• Integral quick-release Picatinny mount: The built-in mount speeds up installation and removal, making the sight easy to move between compatible platforms without adding separate rings or bases.
• Compact, rugged housing: With a 147.00 mm length, 490.00 g weight, and shockproof, waterproof, fogproof construction, the optic is suited to hard use where reliability matters as much as optical performance.
• Fully multicoated optics: The lens coatings support better contrast and light transmission, which helps the reticle and target remain clearer in mixed light and fast-changing outdoor conditions.

About the Mepro Series

The Mepro family brings together combat-oriented optical and electro-optical sights built for users who need straightforward operation, durable construction, and fast target acquisition. Within Meprolight’s lineup, this series sits firmly in the practical end of the market, focusing on service-style reliability rather than oversized controls or unnecessary complexity. The range is aimed at military, law-enforcement, and civilian shooters who use carbines, rifles, and other defensive platforms in dynamic conditions.

Across the series, the design philosophy centers on compact form, robust housings, and intuitive aiming systems. Depending on the model, that includes illuminated reticles, prism-based magnified optics, reflex sights, and other sighting solutions intended for close to intermediate distances. Optical performance is tuned for a usable balance of field awareness and target definition, while the mechanical layout emphasizes secure mounting and dependable adjustment systems. In practical terms, the Mepro series is defined by field-ready durability, clear sight pictures, and controls that remain manageable under stress, making it well suited to tactical optics use, patrol rifles, and general-purpose sporting carbines.

About the Meprolight Mepro X4

The Meprolight Mepro X4 is a fixed 4x prism riflescope built for shooters who want more precision than a red dot can offer, but without the size and handling compromises of a larger variable optic. That format makes it especially useful on carbines and compact rifles used from short to medium distances, where the extra magnification helps identify targets, refine shot placement, and read the environment more clearly. Because the magnification is fixed, the sight stays simple to operate and ready immediately, with no need to adjust zoom before taking a shot.

The optic uses a 40.00 mm objective lens, a fully multicoated optical system, and a 10.00 mm exit pupil, all of which contribute to a bright, forgiving sight picture that is easier to pick up quickly in practical shooting positions. Its 9.62 m/100m field of view still leaves enough situational awareness for fast transitions, while the 38.00 mm eye relief supports stable head placement on compact rifle setups.

The illuminated FFP reticle is a defining part of the Mepro X4. First focal plane layout helps the reticle scale naturally with the image, which is useful when the optic is used for hold references rather than simple center aiming. The sight is also free of parallax, helping reduce aiming error in fast engagements. Mechanically, the capped turrets protect the 0.05 MIL adjustments from accidental movement, which suits a rifle that is expected to hold zero during transport and field use. An integral quick-release Picatinny mount, along with waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction, completes a compact tactical optic designed for dependable service use.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces, and that background still shapes the company’s approach to rugged, duty-focused sighting systems. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, Meprolight develops and manufactures optical and electro-optical sighting systems for military, law-enforcement, and civilian users.

The company’s catalog covers a broad spread of firearm optics, including conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, and thermal sights. It also produces sighting systems for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines, which gives the brand a strong presence across both defensive and sporting applications. As a division of SK Group, Meprolight is closely associated with practical, service-oriented designs that prioritize reliability, straightforward handling, and compatibility with real-world weapon platforms.
