Sightron SIII 10-50x60 FT

• 10-50x magnification range: The wide zoom span lets the scope work from careful sight-in and load development to precise hold placement on very small targets at extended distance.
• 60 mm objective lens: A large front lens helps maintain a usable image as magnification rises, which is especially valuable in field target and bench-style shooting where fine target detail matters.
• Second focal plane reticle: The reticle keeps the same apparent size throughout the zoom range, making the aiming point stay fine and unobtrusive at high magnification.
• Side-focus parallax adjustment: Adjustable parallax from 3 - 18 m supports precise image focus and reduced aiming error at short and varied distances common in field target use.
• Target-style capped turrets: Resettable target turrets with 10 MOA / 2.9 MRAD per turn give repeatable correction for deliberate shooting while the caps add protection during transport and handling.

About the Sightron SIII Series

The Sightron SIII series sits in the brand’s upper tier of target and precision-oriented riflescopes, with models built for competition, field target, long-range, and precision long-range shooting. Across the range, the series is defined by high-magnification configurations, purpose-driven reticle choices, and mechanical systems intended for repeatable adjustment rather than general hunting use. SIII models are offered with both first- and second-focal-plane layouts, and the reticle selection includes target, fine-crosshair, MOA, and mil-hash patterns so shooters can match the optic to their discipline.

A key part of the SIII identity is ExacTrack, Sightron’s windage and elevation adjustment system, which is designed to keep tracking consistent through the full range of turret travel. The series also uses Zact-7 Revcoat lens multicoating to support contrast, light transmission, and a clean sight picture at higher powers where optical shortcomings become easier to see. In practical terms, the SIII line is aimed at shooters who value precise aiming, dependable turret behavior, and the ability to choose between specialized configurations for paper targets, field target lanes, and long-range work.

About the Sightron SIII 10-50x60 FT

The Sightron SIII 10-50x60 FT is a specialist riflescope built around the needs of field target and precision target shooting, where exact aim, careful parallax control, and the ability to read small target details matter more than compact size. Its 10-50x magnification range gives the shooter room to work at moderate power when a wider view is useful, then move up to very high magnification for exact shot placement and more confident target definition. Paired with a 60.00 mm objective lens and fully multicoated optics, that magnification range is supported by an image that remains practical for deliberate shooting rather than rushed snapshots.

The scope uses a second focal plane reticle, a layout many target shooters prefer because the reticle stays visually fine as magnification increases. That helps preserve a precise aiming point on small kill zones or paper targets instead of covering too much of the target at high power. The side-focus parallax adjustment, listed from 3 - 18 m, is especially relevant for field target use because it allows close-distance correction and careful image tuning from the shooting position.

Mechanically, the 30 mm tube, nitrogen-filled construction, and waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof build support steady use in changing weather and repeated transport. The target-style multi-turn turrets provide up to 50.00 MOA of elevation and windage adjustment, with 10 MOA / 2.9 MRAD per turn, making the scope well suited to shooters who dial corrections deliberately and expect repeatable return to zero behavior.

About Sightron

Sightron was originally based in Miami, Florida, and later moved its headquarters to North Carolina. The company began with red-dot sights before expanding into a broader optics range that includes riflescopes for hunting and target shooting, along with binoculars and spotting scopes. That background helps explain why Sightron’s catalog covers both practical field optics and more specialized target models.

Within riflescopes, Sightron is known for series such as SII, SIIB Big Sky, SIII, S-TAC, and SV, each aimed at different levels of use and shooting styles. The brand’s better-known riflescope technologies include ExacTrack for windage and elevation adjustment and Zact-7 Revcoat for lens multicoating. Sightron riflescopes are manufactured in Japan, a detail that is closely associated with the brand’s reputation for consistent mechanical function and solid optical quality in target and precision shooting categories.
